I live in Bismarck with a quality midco hd feed, I have a slingbox to use as well in case of travel... I hooked up the dish package at the inlaws farm in case we are out there... Have the UND insider app on android and iPhone/iPad And AS i am a diehard supporterI purchased UND insider streaming package....just in case...... It came in handy on a hunting trip this fall during the Duluth series. Plus there's always I heart app and the audio stream of Hennessey just in case.

He does seem blissfully ignorant much of the time.....and he sounds like he is confident of abilities in being ignorant. What I mean by that is that most announcers who are out of their element seem timid and a bit gunshy...he just bowls forward in ineptitude

I have and use the sling box.....it's awesome Whatever is on the cable/dish box hooked up to the slingbox will be sent out over Internet to be viewed on whatever Internet portal you are using. A high quality Internet connection to the slingbox is key.... Cost is in the initial equipment however if you want to pull up the slingbox on android or iPhone/iPad platforms a paid app is needed on each, about a $15-20 cost

The problem in hoping for midco to build a network is the other content they can get... I mean how much content can they package that a dish would even want? The Sioux following is a good draw but I don't know what market nationally there is for south Dakota west region girls hockey broadcasts.

To say thay we as fans have " it too good for too long" has got to be one of the most idiotic and just un-intellectual, ignorant things I've ever heard. The exposure and availability, grows the fan base , impassionates the fanbase, generates revenue, and in this day and age if people have to work to find you....well its just truth that not as many people are willing to work to find you. And yes the national exposure is a must to stay relevent on the minds of the peripherals of the sports and even the college hockey world. Look at twitter.....think a buccicross comments much on a webcast game that a smaller crowd is watching or the HD game on NBCSN?...... (just as an example, ) Is a national footprint a recruiting plus?......if it is then is a restrictive prohibitive regional and webcast footprint a recruiting liability?.... Clark had already committed to the transfer back at mid season "11-12" Dell didn't really make a call untill after the Montreal prospects camp this past summer... Which was surprising a bit because after the Habs cooled on him and the options kinda shrunk you would have thought maybe coming back for senior year may not really been that bad of an option.... Can't see leaving school for CHL $$$...it was obviously a complex situation.
