UND won a game they were supposed to handily win today… by the score of 58-7! Yet to some in the clueless department the sky is falling! Ha! What a joke.. On to rest (bye week) and recruiting, and then heading on the road to go beat UNI … much to the chagrin of @Cratter
-
What are you trying to prove? It’s laughable. NDSU? SDSU? Gophers? What’s your true alliance? Of course we have a smaller sample size at this point, but that doesn’t mean you can’t analyze the product on the field after only 4 games … unless you’re clueless in that department …
-
It’s clearly not that simple, but nice try to attempt that argument. Just look at the product on the field- 2024 and 2025 are night and day different. We’re on the rise, but you can continue your unwarranted pessimism … it won’t age well.
-
Still needs to improve, but was unrealistic for us to see major change in just 2 weeks. Maybe 2026 will be the year of major improvements to the entrance and in-game productions?
-
Ha! Wow… Ok fella
-
Wrong. 2024 UND was 5-7 and lost 5 in a row. Their record reflects how bad they were. But this isn't 2024 anymore. Get off the 2024 topic man
-
What claim are you claiming? Seems like you’re working too hard to disprove progress. Team is by no means perfect, but also this team is not the same team as last year. As such, there is no reason at all to push for that narrative. Many times I question whether some of you are UND supporters or just posters masquerading as realists. Of course, if you only look at wins/losses and know nothing about football it makes it easier to make outlandish claims.
-
Respectfully, you’re blind.
-
Yes. 0-0 starting conference play Take it how you will. But team and program is improved and on the up-trend without question.
-
58-7… gave up basically no rushing yards … UND looked the part. Almost beat an FBS team in first game under new regime… and should’ve beat Montana. Montana beat Indiana State like 63-20 today. UND is 4 points away from being 4-0. You all need to just relax, and get out there and support the program. Let’s Go Hawks
-
So it is 24-0 and still “experts” on here chirping … lol Lets Go Hawks
-
I’d say both - hawk flying the state and key cities/places and also highlights from previous weeks … this isn’t rocket science. Get it done UND and Alerus
-
Amen.
-
Don’t care if ag school wins another 10 championships; their fans are still insufferable and God awful
-
Exactly
-
Those production elements and entrances really distract and hurt the ag school, don’t they? Anyways, I do agree there is a balance, but don’t overthink it; UND and Alerus Center need to do more..
-
Yeah, game day production and entrance video simply needs to improve. Stop with excuses and get it done. Coach Schmidt and his squad are doing their part … time for UND athletics and the Alerus Center to start doing their part…
-
I see nothing wrong other than Montana fans fighting strong for second place behind nd ag school fans as being the most insufferable, pathetic arrogant bunch of fans in FCS football … get the f’ out the way you mountain freak f*cks
-
I’d be all for this!
-
Got to beat the best to be the best. Completely agree. With all said, the prize is ultimately won in conference season (MVFC) and then the playoffs, so people need to be patient. The upcoming conference schedule is when we can get critical … we’re not there yet. This team and program is building for that upcoming conference schedule though …
-
I’ll take “we’re good” and “we have talent” any day of the week compared to 5-7 last season…. We now need to develop a killer mindset and consistently finish. We’ll get there. Enjoy the ride on the way to a championship- all the lessons are worth it in the end. Let’s Go Hawks
-
Valparaiso (1-2) visits Grand Forks and the Alerus Center to play UND (1-2) on 9/20/25 at 3 pm. This is purely a “time to get right” game. The winning streak starts NOW. Get out and tailgate. Most importantly pack the Alerus, enjoy the ballgame and support the team! Let’s Go Hawks
-
No moral victories, I completely agree. With that said, would it feel the same if we had lost to Portland State and Valpo on the road? I think not.
-
Sure, but plenty of posts still playing armchair quarterback and saying it’s all on the coaches. Could coaches have been better? Of course, but overall it is very obvious the coaching is much improved compared to 2024, and UND is close, so very close. Easily could be 3-0 despite playing AT Kansas State and AT Montana. No cupcake schedule like the ag school of ND plays. And that’s a good thing. Iron sharpens iron. UND will still improve yet. A ton. This team and program has a TON of potential yet … just wait and see
