Good post, it just frustrates me too see all the out of state presidents we hire, with all the North Dakota talent that graduates from here, would be nice to see a local be in charge for a change, really miss Clifford!

I hear what your saying, I guess they can create all the commitee's they want, they did this with the Sioux nickname and you see where it went. When it comes to anything logical over at the U these days, I guess I'm pretty skeptical with what has gone on in the past.

Amen, if it's so bad here, there are other places to live, amazing how UND continues to succeed, take your 1% with you and start your own institution and see how well you do.

The nickname was here long before these professors teaching here today, if it was so offensive to them in the first place, why work here? I believe it is still a free country we are living in, if they do not like the nickname, go find a job some where else if they are that unhappy. The vast majority that do like the nickname still pay taxes just like the ones that don't, I think you know where I'm going here?
