The new owners could of gotten the Ralph closed they were that inept.
Understatement of the year. Norman was in the kitchen yelling at the lady in charge about being out of things. She told him to pay the bills and she could order stuff.

In June 2006 the ND Board of higher education voted 8-0 to authorize a lawsuit challenging the NCAA's position on the Fighting Sioux nickname. They made it clear that this would be funded exclusively with donated funds. Many of us responded--$885,000 was raised.
Rather than supporting the lawsuit, or even the settlement agreement, the board made a 180 degree switch in their position--totally betraying those who, in good faith, contributed to the lawsuit THEY authorized.
To cap it off, the board president testifies before the senate committee that the nickname bill should be defeated, claiming that THE STATE has already spent over $800,000 litigating this issue.
I'm not sure that dissolving the SBoHE is a good idea. Recent actions of the current board, however, have been disgraceful. Donors to the litigation fund have every reason to be outraged by the board's betrayal, and all of us should be concerned about the board president's misleading testimony.
Disgraceful only because you did not get your way. If they had gone the other way you would be singing their praises. Why are all of you not calling for the AG's head, he made the deal you hate.

Its close but I think it passes. There is a lot there available for sale (I believe) so that's the buffer. But in other words I guess that restaurant couldn't have a liquor license. stupid.
Where as Olive Garden and Grizzly's would be back to back.

Gseppies (sp?) in Grand Forks Downtown by bonzers is an awesome italien place. Kinda of expensive but u get enuf for two people in one plate.\\
Crappy hours tho. i think its only 5-9 tues-sat

If you don't want the schools to be susceptible to politics then privatizr them. Otherwise, they are the peoples institutions and should be directly accountable to the representatives of the people.

They are women that have something to say, just because you might disagree with them does not matter. Sarah Palin has power and influence. She has supporters so yes she should be listened to. I suppose you think Obama should be listened to? You should and then use your own mind to decide what you want to believe, either Obama or Palin. Personally I think they are both idiots.
Palin's power and influence is only over the people that are so simple minded they may belong in a group home.

I would suggest contacting your legislators and telling them to support it.
You are also the kind of person who thinks Michelle Bachmann, Sarah Palin, and Sharron Angle are women with something to say and should be listened to.

How can you say in one sentence you don't see the attraction and then the next that you've never tried it??? I'm not saying it's good or bad, but to have an opinion you better have tried it.
As if I have not heard people whining for years about getting an Olive Garden. I do not need to eat mass produced Italian food to know that it is garbage. If I am going to eat Italian food this is where I will eat.

I was wondering the same thing. I suppose it has something to do with how the 300 feet is measured. Like the City Council will not change the ordinance? Denying Olive Garden a license would get their heads chopped off. Though myself I do not see the attraction of Olive Garden. Never ate at one and never will eat at one.

My family and I made it back to GF for homecoming last year. We had not been back since before the flood. I spent most of the 80's and part of the 90's knocking em back at whiteys. We where pretty disappointed with the two meals we had at whiteys during the visit. The food wasn't very good, and the service was terrible. In part, I blame the magnetic flux lines emanating from the horseshoe bar. They installed the bar 90 degrees out of alignment after the flood, and the entire universe has been screwed up ever since.
I hope they reopen whiteys, but they need to go back to the old menu and of course, rotate the bar if they want to succeed.
Going back to the old menu will not fix what was wrong.
