We have brought new people on board with different visions and view points and ideas. From what I understand its had a pretty good effect on the depts thought process. As far as some of the other stuff Im just speculating just like you and the rest here. JUst like they mentioned travel for our teams. May be they want to send the outdoor Track and field teams to more away meet in the spring because of the weather? Womens softball and mens baseball? There are thousands of scenarios if you want to speculate. But you want to zero in on one thing. Hey have at it. Im an alum and its no big deal to me. Why is it a big deal to you? Oh I cant believe you played the illegal card. Wow.

Since most schools are forward looking Im sure they see a need for funding future projects, infrastructure etc. FCOA was already taken care of for the first 3 years with private donations. It is a shame that peer institutions went to the well to often and to long and dont have an effective fund raising arm for athletics. You have used your students as a resource much more than we have. So why the angst when we do also?

From Hammersmith on BV I picked the nearest DI schools to get a comparison. I took the student fee data from the annual USA Today report and divided it by the FTE enrollments of the universities(data from each schools' website). I think that's the most accurate way of figuring out how much the average student pays since most fees are based on credit hours. $252.40 - UND $248.09 - SDSU $208.20 - USD $169.67 - UNI $103.03 - UNO $88.57 - NDSU Interesting dont you think.

I guess we could also look at the inequality in funding from the state. But thats another can of worms. Just because they are trying to raise student activity fees to the level of their peers how did this get extrapolated to FCOA?

At one time most training camps were held away from the hometown. Now a days I dont know anymore.

They have practice facilities off of 169 and 494 now but still use Mankato for prefall. Why would that change?
