for those that say we can't have the Rough Rider nickname because it would be too confusing with a small high school in eastern north dakota having the same nickname? agreed...seems like minny people/students love north stars (no malice involved just slightly biased), fargo people love sundogs (much malice involved with wanting the worst possible nickname), and north dakota students/people like roughriders???

what most people mean about the consultants is the money we are paying them to forward the "insert color" and hawks nickname when the committee could have and should have been formed with non-paid people like lowell and karl and the such...the consultants have brought little to this process to validate their pay...

but it did give you a small sample size of how he sees things in this mean mean world that all full of angry mean people hurting everyone else feelings....sundogs makes him smile and warm

is it just me or do i find it very offensive that this consulting group is telling US that our award that we give to the best north dakota citizens is offensive??? i think they just wanna keep on keeping on with the "insert school color" and add hawk formula that has made them big money because of the pc police....

if you look at my avatar and thing below it i was all forthe "fighting norse" for one bc it would be a thumb in the nose of the pc crowd to name our new nickname after the nordic people aroudn here and that it would have a cool side profile of a norse warrior...if roughriders wins have bb do a side profile of teddy and put riders above it and you have the old/new hockey jersey that everyone loved....

must be a great gig for these consultants....get hired by a school to replace a name...choose the primary color of the color add the word Hawk to it and charge about 100K...

for one i hope roughriders wins and two i hope its a no brainer that bb is chosen to do the new new logo...and not one that looks like a cartoon of teddy but something along the line of the old/new sioux logo he did a decade ago that is sharp, classy, fierce, and timeless

it's bad enough that hak is going to philly where riping coaches is what they do but to think that hak won't have an "x" on his back by opposing coaches that worked their way up from the echl, ahl, and then to assistants for many many years you are delusional...this is going to look pretty tame if hak goes to phily and becomes "a good coach."
