Maybe the science museum can have an interactive aquarium!

too late to add a very very large aquarium to the new union?  all that money that i think wynne saved us on steel could've paid for a nice big big fish tank right in the middle

A legit science museum would be a good start. Could probably partner with UND on that and have nice space and Dino exhibits.

ding ding...winner....everyone loves dinosaurs and team up with UND and make it professional, fun, and educational.

I disagree with the stadium issue.  Given the current size, they can leverage ticket scarcity by keeping ticket prices high while still bein able to effectively sell out every game and have an awesome atmosphere.  I don't see how a bigger stadium is needed at all when they already generate more ticket sales than any school in the MAC, Sun Belt, or CUSA, not to mention half of the MWC.  They can renovate the dome to add suites or club seats as well, so $200 million for a new stadium seems like a hell of risk to me -- for what reward?  I'd really like to see a hypothetical financing/business analysis on this.  Also, disregarding any financial risk, the home field advantage at the new stadium would undoubtedly be worse, which I believe would actually cost UND W's at some point.  It's a TOUGH place to play at for a road team... we've all seen it.  I'll refrain from comparing the Fargo Dome to the basketball arenas at Gonzaga or Duke, but you get the point.

just change ndsu to und and rinse and repeat..........

Just as I figured, Wentz is already injured.   He stubbed his toe at the third day of practice and is out indefinitely.   Looks like Wentz is right back to his true form.   https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/carson-wentz-misses-practice-with-foot-injury-and-reportedly-out-indefinitely-colts-evaluating-next-move/

they are saying it aint season ending but with cw the second his foot is healed he'll hurt the other one....time to go work at scheels carson

Even if those talks the MWC had with NDSU were real those talks have been suspended now.  The MWC might have a couple Big 12 leftovers fall in their lap.  No point in talking to NDSU when KSU is coming on the market.

exactly....plus both montana and idaho bring much much more to the table than the ndac...whether we four (sodaks and nodaks) realize it or not we are all probably attached at the hip for the next 100 years one way or the other.......

On Dom Izzo's show today while speaking to NDSU AD Matt Larson.

"NDSU is well positioned if a call came from an FBS Conference"

Thoughts? I realize it's all fluid, but I've always thought the worse possible scenario for UND would be NDSU jumping to FBS and UND staying FCS. That would be devastating.

just say it so it must be true....fargo didn't suddenly shift 500 miles south.....good god

If the Big 12 doesn’t dissolve it will pick from the top teams in G5 conference. UHouston and Memphis would be top pics in my opinion. Boise too if they wanted to accept it. UCF wants to get to the P5 level too if they got invited.

the question is ...is the big 12 minus ou and texas a p5 conference when your backfilling with any of the above schools...the AAC would maybe a step above the big12...you have some very major urban centers in that conference....wich manhatten kansas, ames, iowa, and stillwater ok aren't...the AAC has houston, dallas, tampa, orlando, cincy, memphis. philly, new orleans....
