Not sure who would be able to do that.

The owners make more money by growing the game overseas. The American market is saturated. The European market is not.

The rumor mill is really churning ... I heard Elijah Grady is poised for a comeback.

could be a millionaire right now....but probably not.

would love to see some covid rules kick in for him to get back on campus for one more shot....

The entire athletic department has been playing catch up since the decision in 2003.  This fall when everything is complete with the Hyslop at Memorial Village, Nodak Insurance Company Sports Performance Center and Field House Memorial Village.  UND will be on even ground with the peer Dakota schools.

you can have all the facilites in the world but if you don't have the right coaches.....your f'd

What a conundrum for him if KEM married Tavis MacMillan.  Oh, maybe not, he would be doubly mad at her because he couldn't marry him!

Trump called me yesterday. Had some beers together.

He said he's gonna work on the 25k fee for the collective.

Everyone keep the pressure on please.

if a little pressure on this message board gets them to reverse the fees what was the point of it in the first place and whose idea was it...

Assuming Rhombus's 1883 Ale is no longer being sold, this could be a great opportunity for an amazing UND branded beer with much greater distribution.  Very cool news though - this will be a well known destination similar to the Blue Moose, Parrots Cay, Toasted Frog, Red Pepper, etc.

too bad the owner of the cay didn't want a Parrot's Cay UND Style......

  9. Didn't really know where to put/ask this but when parents have to take a half day off bc their kids are not in school the economy can take a hit...

    too hot-cancel school

    too cold-cancel school

    wednesdays-half day of school

    flu virus going around-close schools

    it never ends....

Why would she want all this money to go to UND from the Collective? I think she is contributing to it. Why would she want her money going to anyone but the athletes?

not sure of her motivations but since she's taken over the trust it seems one sided and sometimes vindictive....

Two things regarding the 1883 collective that need to be addressed:

First...It is an absolute administrative embarrassment and disgrace that UND is charging the 1883 Collective 25k a year to basically raise money for UND athletics only because they are doing it in the name of the University.

Armacost, Chaves and whomever else need to be held accountable for this. It's unnecessary overhead that needs to be resolved to be more financially efficient.

If anybody wants to b*tch about something important....this is it. Calls and emails. This is unacceptable.

Second ...rent for the 1883 collective unit in Memorial Village. $1600 a month. Do the math. That's money that could be spent on athletes. Hoping the building owners can help out with that and do better for the cause.

do all nil's have an office space of some sort?

IMO a lot of 1883 will be going to hockey (since it can be designated), so this is a good idea. Lots of football alumni out there that hopefully will step up.

if the Jets win the Cup i hope Chipman's pocketbook gets a little greasy with und....
