For example, in CA my son is more likely to die in a car accident driving to the rink than of covid, but the politicos have shut it all down. In other news as of this morning: in hardest hit NY, 99.86% of people have not died of covid. in CA 99.992% of people have not died of covid.

Tough to model with all those variables
