Thanks for the history lesson on Tech hockey-myself included, barely knew of their rich hockey tradition as many of us were either not even born yet or were too young to remember. Great story too about your '04 trip up to Houghton. It's been one of my regrets not getting up there for a series.

Excellent points by all who've responded. It is early in the season, lots of hockey left to be played, many upsets cited, lots of good examples of that. Thanks for putting it in perspective.

I just posted this on another thread but wanted to ask everyone here if it means anything to them that Air Force lost at home last night to Alabama-Huntsville 4-2, less than a week after being 29 seconds away from beating UND, a top five team, on the road. Is Huntsville that good or are we a little over-rated?

So less than a week after pushing UND, the #2 team in the nation and I'm their barn, to overtime, Air Force loses at home to Huntsville, 4-2. Am I be reading too much into this regarding how good UND really is?

I think there was an element of both.

Bad turnover by SCSU and great execution by Duluth.
