This must be the explanation. I had a couple of friends get turned away also, saying there were no tickets available.

I went to Good Night and Good Luck in Fargo at the Fargo Theatre. It is still playing there. I make the trip down to Fargo to see movies in their theaters on a regular basis. I wish the Empire would get a movie like this every once in a while.

When it looked like Grand Forks was going to get a couple of new theaters, Carmike 10 announced plans to renovate their existing theater. Now, because of lack of competition, they say that it is put on "hold"? That is funny stuff.

Panera Bread would be nice. How about something along the lines of a Jamba Juice?

The mexican restaurants that where Grizzly's is now were far from authentic Mexican food. I'm not suprised about Bronze Boot, they serve a great meal, have a lot of great choices on their menu, they are a local mom and pop joint, and they are super busy every weekend.

I've only ever seen one on ebay, a couple of months ago.

If you think that the Ponderosa is the high end steakhouse in Grand Forks, you need to drive around the town a bit more.

I agree. I would like to add that although I pay X amount of dollars for my seats and X amount of dollars to join the Fighting Sioux Club, and I pay X amount of taxes to the state which helps fund Higher Ed in this state, that does not entitle me to much more than my seats at the Ralph. Also, paying tuition and money for their seats, the students aren't entitled to anything but a seat at the game. There are people on both sides of this debate who think the more they pay, the more they think they run the REA.

Great point. I keep hearing people talk about the "drunken students", but there are plenty of season ticket holders who sit around me that get drunk and obnoxious at every game. I'm not denying the fact that some students might get drunk at the games, but there are plenty of non-students who are drunk at every game also.
