I think Sather will be alright. I don’t want to overreact but that team played more like a team than I have seen in the past. Our offense can still be a little stagnant at times though.
Bingo. Tommy certainly isn’t slow or unathletic, he would just prefer to try to use his arm and avoid getting hit running with the ball. I would think there would be somewhat of an open competition for the job but more so between Tommy and Trey.
Those are the two I was anticipating. Hoping we don't see much or any attrition from the other classes. No idea who would be some of the targets for the possible open spots.
Maybe it was said, maybe it wasn’t but we need to let Tommy cook. Throwing him off his rhythm to bring in Quincy (who clearly can’t throw) does him no good.
I feel way better after that game then after listening to the Mayville game. Panoam and Nero need to step up more. Bruns will be starting sooner than later. Norman and Matthews maybe too.
I don’t think anyone doubted Jones could recruit a bit or he at least had some solid assistants that could (Coach G) but the man got out coached nearly every game it seemed. Sather has brought in some decent talent but hasn’t been able to retain it. I have some high hope for this most recent class with Bruns and Matthews and then add in Tsotne and Norman in the sophomore class.
