I’m moving on from the Pacific game. Thursday I wouldn’t mind seeing a starting 5 of Trent, Brooks, Omot, T and Matthews. I don’t know what’s going on with Sueker but he does not have it right now. Wouldn’t mind Norman in for Brooks for shooting but make sure he knows that’s his one singular job on that side of the ball.

The transfer portal is a quick duct tape fix. It may hold you on long enough so that your traditional high school approach can start taking place though. Basically if I were the head coach, I would hit the transfer portal hard to start. Try to build a winning season(s) but slowly filter in the high school approach as I believe that has a better chance at sustained success. But you obviously have to retain your kids and let them develop.

I’m sure it’s been discussed here but maybe I missed it. When the committee is making the bracket they seed 1-8 and then they maybe seed the rest of the field but when determining the actual matchup they are trying to find bus trips unless maybes it’s their 9 v 10? And then once they have the field matched, the home team is determined by the bid that was previously placed for that first round?

Yesterdays rotation was as large as it was because the game went pear shaped so quickly. They did have a decent run going towards the end of the first half and then just subbed half or most of the guys out and things ballooned again instantly.

Nero looked like the student manager finally getting a chance to suit up and went in chucking whenever he could.

Like what’s been said, if Luepke is out that’s huge for us. Even without him though, I fear how we stop their running. I wouldn’t be shocked if they go with their approach they had against WIU, just pound the rock. On the offensive side, I’d be shocked if we can’t consistently move the ball. That’s not necessarily a slight to their defense but our offense is humming. Maybe they are the ones to stop that.

Can someone explain why Bo is listed as a graduate student? I figured it was just a typo but they just announced him as that again. Seems like something that could be fixed easy unless I’m missing something.

I will never understand how a team like Southern Utah can produce multiple helmets but we can only have one.

John Santiago was unreal that game. Also, agreed on the uniforms although I hate the racecar #s on the helmet.

This Lotysz news has me nervous. I think Carroll can be a good center but hopefully he resolved his snapping issues.

When I went through the schedule I had us at about .500 for non-con. I think it’s attainable.
