  1. For what it's worth SCSU recently upgraded their broadcast equipment and the quality of the feed is excellent. Great picture and I haven't experienced any buffering issues all season.
  2. Charter airs the games and owns the broadcast rights. Charter isn't in the Twin Cities, but Comcast airs the Charter feed there for SCSU home games. No idea as to why they wouldn't charge Midco and let them broadcast the game.
  3. SCSU has a high quality web feed for 8-9 dollars per game. I wouldn't be surprised if Midco picked up the Charter feed like they did in Duluth this weekend.
  4. Saturday is sold out beyond standing room, might have to try Craigslist or Stub Hub. Plenty of seats still left for Friday through scsuhuskies.com
  5. I will be at the games this weekend and I will take that bet. I don't actually think SCSU will sweep, but 10 dollars to win 89? My kind of odds.
  6. I can't guarantee that everyone will have a good time, but I guarantee that you will.
  7. Full disclosure (as many of you know): I am a SCSU fan and am an alum of both of these schools so this is always a fun one for me. In any event, I'll be making the trip on Friday with a Sioux fan. Can hardly contain my excitement this week. A number of downtown bars have shuttles that will take you to and from the Hockey Center. Among them: McRudy's, Howie's, and MC's Dugout. There are more, I just can't remember which ones. As others have noted, MC's Dugout and The Red Carpet (and adjacent martini lounge) are popular spots. Also, I would suggest the White Horse and/or House of Pizza for pregame food and drinks. There are usually a large contingent of Sioux fans in St. Cloud for this series, you'll have a good time.
  8. That's correct, the Sioux will shoot twice at the west end goal/Section 101 end.
  9. You avoid some fees by calling the SCSU ticket office directly.
  10. The end result makes SCSU look like a "like-minded institution".
  11. I agree. If Gino was in anyway a part of this, you should go find an old man who played for the Sioux, brought back 3 NCAA championships to Grand Forks as head coach and also served as UND's athletic director so you can kick him in the balls. Classy.
  12. It's good to be aboard boys! In my opinion, adding SCSU was a fine choice. I hope to see you all October 28 and 29 in Grand Forks.
  13. Is there any chance you could clarify your position on this matter? Some of the others and I just can't determine where you stand.
  14. Finally, a comment I can relate to on this thread.
  15. What's your point? Last I checked 2 of 3 CO teams are in the NCHC and AFA is not joining. None of this changes the fact that a large number of UND grads live in or around the Twin Cities/Minnesota.
  16. I'd be interested in taking these off your hands. Mostly, I'm looking for 2 Saturday seats, however I could possibly take both nights. 701-212-5980.
