  1. Holy crap!!! See you all in St. Louis. Beer is on NDWARTHOG!!!!!
  2. Wow!!! Loved watching the game. The boyz were rolling, hitting, crashing the net. Loved it. Keep it cranked up tomorrow.
  3. Another nice article about Matt Greene. Too bad the Oilers are out of it for the season. http://www.edmontonsun.com/Sports/Oilers/2...742225-sun.html
  4. UMD-BADgers skate to an exciting 0-0 tie. It was nice to watch the game without the homer announcers we typically get here in Dairyland. TH says Tech wins the tie-breaker with BADgers. GO CC!!
  5. Dogs-BADgers going into OT. But BADgers have a PP of about 1:12 to start the extra end.
  6. Nice period boyz. Dogz get away with lots of grabbing. They are winning the riding time for sure.
  7. I usually hate to hear "he goes to the backhand". Miller throw the puck on net. Get two tomorrow.
  8. BADgers have as many points as we do right now. They win 3-1. SCSU did not look that good. POUR on that PP boyz.
  9. 3-1 BADgers with 17:30 to go in the 3rd. Let's get a couple boyz.
  10. I've been a prosecutor for 15+ years in Wisconsin. I volunteer to come home, be the special prosecutor and dismiss all the charges after reading the police reports and making a thoughtful determination in the interests of justice. I will simply require air fare, some reasonable accomodations and perhaps some tickets to any ice hockey games that happen to be going on at the Ralph.
  11. My last minor in possession was in 1977 and I paid a $20 forfeiture to Richland County. This is much ado about not a thing. Robbie and the cops reminds me of a law school classmate who tried to educate the Grand Forks cops about the constitution and spent the night in the pokey. If you can open the door of a squad to talk to your teammates, more power to you. The cops should have been guarding their prisoners better. Isn't that a non-criminal violation still?
  12. "License to kill gophers by the government of the United Nations. Man, free to kill gophers at will. To kill, you must know your enemy, and in this case my enemy is a varmint. And a varmint will never quit - ever. They're like the Viet Cong - Varmint Cong. So you have to fall back on superior intelligence and superior firepower. And that's all she wrote. " Caddyshack released in 1980. Last time we swept at UMTC was 1980. Coincidence. Definitely. Great weekend boyz!!! It was amazing in that we were always in the box for some pseudo-penalty. GO SIOUX!!
  13. Great win!!!!! Let's keep out of the box a bit more tomorrow.
  14. I hate it when the Beavers "throw it right back". GO SIOUX!!!!!!!!
  15. Sounds like Matt went all Zach on the Sharks.
  16. Put me down in the "Yuck" column also. The material isn't going to make a bit of difference during a game, just what is inside it.
  17. Wow, good memories. I actually was born in Mississippi, a poor white child, moved to France for five years, Orlando for two years while dad went to Vietnam, England for three years, first tour in Grand Forks started in July 1970 where I attended games at the Barn, moved to Tampa in 1972 and back to GF in late 1974. Graduated from Red River, UND from 1976-1980 and watched Jofa17 and friends play some great hockey and I managed to graduate. UND Law School until 1983 and saw the team win a couple of championships. Sisseton for a bit, Ft. Yates for a bit, got married to a Central/UND grad who decided to go to U of Washington in Seattle for another degree. Milwaukee in 1986, Jackson, Mississippi from 95-98 where we helped get a local UND Alumni group going and travelled to Milwaukee for the 97 Championship. Moved back to Milwaukee in 98 where we do all we can to support Sioux hockey, including going to Madison every year, Mankato and Houghton to catch live game action. I've been to games in all three buildings. I think I could talk my wife into going back to ND, but our daughter will be attending UND next fall and she would prefer that we stay in Wisconsin. I'm not sure why, I barely recall those days.
  18. My recollection on Mr. Colborne was his freshman year was 76. He had the hardest shot I had ever seen and he could move. He got to UND on his motorcycle which begged the question what he was going to do for Christmas break. I thought he was bigger than 5'7" also. Too many junior games was the problem with his eligiblity.
  19. The Oilers had a skills competition yesterday. Evidently Mr. Greene has a pretty hard shot. 100.9 of what I must assume was MPH v. KPH. Good for second place on the team. http://www.edmontonsun.com/Sports/Oilers/2...516115-sun.html Tied for second as Shootout king. The kid is a sniper.
  20. Why doesn't anybody think this won't be removed to federal court??
  21. Great win boys. My daughter is there for a visit this weekend with my wife. We are hoping she decides to dtich Wisconsin and get to ND. They were at the game and finally she will stop whining about me going to the Ralph without her!! Stay out of the box tomorrow and let's get another 4 point weekend.
  22. Go to Mankato like I am and buy a ticket.
  23. BADgers got another with 4:47 to go in the 2nd.
  24. Just got back to Brew town from Mad town. Way to go boyz!! My random thoughts without seeing all the other posts were that we did not use the big ice enough. Not many cross ice passes. I thought the D was a little ragged. Bina did not look that sharp and Lee passing the puck to Toews with three BADgers on him and one forechecking Lee leaves lots of guys open. I thought the BADgers got away with lots of chippy stuff towards the whistles. Two points. Lets go for the broom tomorrow.
  25. http://www.nhl.com/features/preview/2006/edm_feature.html Nice comments about Matt Greene from Edmonton GM Kevin Lowe.
