There's a place in W. Mesa called R-T O'Sullivan's II that televises Sioux hockey but I haven't had a chance to go there yet. Will probably check it out if & only the Sioux demonstrate they're a contender this year. I wouldn't want to waste my time & money & watch performances like this...

You'd think the Sioux would change something to get around whatever SCSU is doing. Underachieving against the Huskies ain't a good sign...

It's kinda difficult for me to start & maintain a movement from 1,500 miles away but I'll do my best. My only movements have been ones of the bowel variety

Blais on: Said the team was in shock at first with SCSU's hard playing style & that they maybe panicked a little as the game progressed. Also, talking about puck luck & that they just didn't get the bounces but you can't control that. Took some blame for not adjusting lines last night when things weren't going well. Will be starting Brandt tonight...

For those of you with fast & reliable Internet connections, pls. post updates here if you're following the game tonight. Any predictions? I say anything less than a Sioux 2 goal margin-of-victory would be disappointing, but accepted nonetheless...

Cool, I needed someone to blame for this God-awful PP & the Herald just made my hit list. From now on, scoreless nights on the PP won't be blamed on bad coaching or the players--don't have any problem with that

A player's size can be misleading if you take a particular team's "official" roster as the gospel truth. Oftentimes, or many times, a player's height is bumped up 1 or 2 inches. If S-SM has him at 5'8" he may be closer to 5'7"; similarly, Heisenberg sometimes underestimates player' sizes (he has Duncan at 5'6"). My guess is that Duncan is around 5'7".

Forgot to thank all the nice souls out there who kept me updated throughout the game tonight. Getting out of the house after the game allowed me to get a little perspective on tonight's loss. * Was pleased with the officiating in that they didn't allow SCSU to get away with that ugly style of hockey (actually they did get away with it as UND's lackluster PP is turning into a bonafide nightmare. This can't continue & changes have to be made now. 3 coaches should be able to remedy this for crying out loud--it's not rocket science) * Hats off to SCSU for coming to play. I admire a team that plays hard. * Many upsets around the country tonight: Harvard & N.H. lost & maybe some other favorites, as well. * Just a minor setback tonight, I hope. A win tomorrow still puts UND at 3-1 in conference play before heading to Denver. A loss tomorrow would be a big setback. & I expect a convincing Sioux win tomorrow. No "ifs", "couldas" or "shouldas" should be accepted by the Sioux faithful with all the talent we have. It's time to rock & keep our chins up. Thx again, guys, for the fabulous updates!!

Well, any cockiness the Sioux had earlier in the week should be gone by now--this game should return them to planet earth in a hurry. Very disappointing result. Championship-caliber teams bury most of their scoring opportunities & do at least fairly well on the PP. Hope tonight was an aberration...

That's great, I just spent the last 2 1/2 hours of listening to a game from last year. What's up? Thumbs down for the Sioux on a weak-ass PP & not converting on great chances...
