Bison1234- I was not told off on the Bison board. My posts were deleted! I had nothing to pout about. I was just shocked at the vulgar language after the game and the crying by the NDSU fans. I also did not mention the SEVERAL Bison fans pounding on the windows of the refs minivan when they were trying to get the heck out (escape) of there. There were also four horrible no calls for pass interference that should have gone against NDSU. But whatever, its a game. I guess I was just plain shocked at the actions of some NDSU fans after the game. There were also personal (verbal)attacks on SCSU fans who told them to shut up and take it like men. I guess I always knew there was a difference between UND and NDSU fans but not to this degree. Even when I do to the REA to see a SCSU/UND game (which I amd going to) I get treated fine and there are fun jabs at each other. I just wanted to see UND fans slant on the issue. Good luck in the playoffs Sioux. You always represent the NCC well in the playoffs.

The NDSU people blame the refs for their loss at SCSU. You have to read the complaints about the refs. When leaving the game i walked out of Selke with 50 or so NDSU fans that were swearing and yelling about the refs. (In front of kids of course) A very crude bunch. The loss had nothing to do with a missed extra point, of a dropped thouchdown pass in overtime. Why the difference in mentality when it comes to sportsmanship between NDSU and UND. I have seen many many UND vs SCSU events and the fans are great. A fun bunch. But the fans out of Fargo are something else. Has it always been this way?

As a SCSU fan that has been to both the Alerus and the Fargodome. i find the Alerus to have much louder fans and has MUCH better lighting. The Fargodome is very nice but it is dark and dirty looking. The colors are depressing. Alerus is bright and exciting and the fans are very loud. UND is the hardest place to win int eh NCC (probably far superior to most D-IAA stadiums to) Just an outsiders opinion. As far as outsoor/indoor football. in our region indoor is the way to go. People at the U want an outdoor stadium again but i can remember VERY small crowds when the weather got cold.

I am in shock ricgt now! How the hell did this happen ? Good job UND. As a SCSU fan that is hard to say but that was one hell of a game. Depressing but exciting. UND and SCSU players are class SUTDENT ATHLETES unlike a certain school just south of you. I could not take a loss like this to them. But anyway good luck the rest of the year!

I like Fargo very much. It is a nice clean town with plenty of shopping and food.

Tony- I never said hate, you did. And the drunken thug reference was about the past. I don't know if things have changed in Fargo but I do know that NDSU has a poor reputation in the NCC. Look at the NCC All-Acedemic Football Teams over the last four years, NDSU 2 PLAYERS. UND 27 players over the last four years #1 in NCC. I was shocked. (SCSU 12) I think this is also a reflection of the type of athlete different schools recruit. And Tony I do not make public appearances and if I did it would not be in Fargo.

I know lots and lots of SCSU fans and alums. And those of us CLOSE to SCSU Athletics don't like NDSU and respect UND. My lack of respect for NDSU comes from the Rocky H days. At that time NDSU had (and has) a great tradition but was also the most classless program around. NDSU had a reputation for its players being thugs, drunks. Not to mention the profanity in the stands. Much like a SCSU hockey mob. (they sicken me too) Some school in the NCC focus on class STUDENT athletes and will only compete for a championship once in a while. Some schools are factories. NDSU will never live the Rocky days down. I follow college sports at all levels and I honestly do not see the luster in DIAA football. However DI basketball would excite me.

SCSU? I dont think so, the road may be too tough for them. If we had more home games mabye. But Selke Field is not much of a home. I can't wait for the new stadium to be completed! So UND fans please pull for SCSU if you guys are out of it because the SCSU commuinty pulls for UND over NDSU every time. And how can you stand Bison Kent's speculation about D-I? Every day a new scerenio with him.

sprig - get that north dakota chip off of your shoulder. i know, change the name of you state and people will think better of you. how about.... dakota? just a shame. if you are 6-3 and had legroom you you must have the legs of a person who is 5-8 because many people were complaining. but it is a nice arena. the x is better but it should be.

A few UND fans have spent too much time at the UM hockey board, PrideOnIce. Come on "Red headed step child and Jan brady U" you surely can do better. Also remember that hockey means nothing to the rest of the country. Even in Minnesota the vast majority of people could care less. The majority of High Schools don't even have a hockey program. It will always be basketball and football! (Probably not 1AA football) The UofM did not even sell out their allotment of tickets for the frozen four. PS. THE SEATING IN THIRD REICH ARENA IS HORRIBLE. YOU FEEL LIKE ONE IS ESCAPING FROM THE NAZI DEATH CAMP AT THE END OF THE GAME. NO LEG ROOM AND BUTT ROOM. IT LOOKS GOOD THOUGH
