NDSUgrad-Yes it is smaller than what you have at NDSU but SCSU has alot of improving to do when it comes to football attendance. It will seat 6000 and the curved part is visitor seating. For now, I just hope we can fill what is being built. Now that it is on campus we will get close to filling it.

Southwest State to the NCC? Maybe a good fit but has the school considered a move? What is their budget compaired to the rest of the NCC? Would money be a problem? Just a few questions for you Mustangfan.

Somebison, there will be seating on three sides. I now have a great pic of what the place lill look like when completed but I don't know how to get it from the my pictures file to this board. The dome will be over the field for winter rec. Not for games. There was a nice artist pic on the layout i will try to find it and post the link.

This is kinda fun to get a response from you guys. And it is slow at the store today. Anyway, Cheeringsiouxfromsmog there was a city wide vote about 5-6 years ago for an indoor stadium that barely failed. So the students and private donors are building their own stadium. I voted for the dome but this will do. there will be a dome over the new stadium in the winter months.

Sicatoka, Yes i believe it is field turf. UND92,96- The media situation is frustrating for SCSU fans. All of our news is Mpls media. Imagine how frustrating it is for Husky Hockey fans having to only watch UM highlights. They don't even give SCSU scores. Its even worse for NCC coverage. As far as attendance, i think the new field, being on campus, having actual parking lots, and a good product, will increase attendance. It better! One interesting note on the funding of the stadium is that the students voted to pay for it through increased activity fees.

somebison- the field will be some type of turf that is "new and improved" i forget the name. It is to be just like grass. and about those selke bathrooms, there was more water on the floor that is the toilets!

Now whe you visit us we will have a stadium that we can be proud of. Selke Field was just a sad sight and it was hard for SCSU fans to hold their heads up when playing at home. Morris Kurtz (SCSU AD) is a horrible promoter, fundraiser, and he is lazy. When he goes the SCSU athletic depts rep will get better. There is only one direction it can go and that is up. BELIEVE ME most SCSU fans, boosters, and alumni are all unhappy with Kurtz. And NorthDakotaHockey, the issue of the Sioux name and logo is not an issue for SCSU fans and it was only made an issue in the media and the 20 protestors seen at the games. Hope its a good game tonight!

Sprig- I think you are right in the fact that SCSU is "in bed" with Victory Sports. SCSU was directed to cut all "unauthorized" feeds. I also am unhappy with Victory Sports, they are a joke! The gam was on victory but the only place SCSU fans can watch is in Sauk Centre, MN. So don't balme SCSU admin, its not a trick, its about $ and Victory Sports.

Goon- there is a pic on on this site under "SCSU sign ideas". I do respect and like Saigo, but I told several people in St Cloud about the pic of President Saigo and they all laughed. Including me! To a good series!

Goon- The "SCCC" thing was started at the UM and is more fitting coming from them. I don't know if you are trying to be like them, but it has never caught on anywhere except on POI. Sioux Fans are more original than that! However I did like some of the sign ideas for when SCSU was up there. I likes the photo of President Saigo in a Blackhawks jersey.

It will be a tough series and hopefully a clean series. Two Husky victories would please me very much but I feel a split would be more like it. If there is a sweep I dont think it will be SCSU, but i don't know crap! If I run into any UND fans at the Red Carpet after the game, LETS HAVE ONE!

I think NDSU moving to 1AA because they don't get the national attention like UND does with their 1A hockey program. In Mineesota UND is looked to as the "flagship university" of North Dakota with their law, medicine, and hockey programs. Don't give me the crap about the "watering down" of DII competition as the reason for leaving. Its about exposure. DIA basketball could be huge. NDSU is making a good choice for them. (i think)

DIAA/DII tomato/tomato no national attention for either and thats ok. The only difference will be in basketball, where NDSU will be competing against the best. DIAA is not a big deal for football.

i don't know who the administrator of this board is but i assume tony is the administrator at bisonville. i notice that there are people banned (or warned) all the time there. on this board i have never had posts deleted. i know that have written things you all dislike. but the spirited conversation seems to be welcome here. I LIKE THAT! the administrator can do what they want because i am a visitor and not associated with UND or NDSU. i am just a fan of SCSU and small college sports, from DIAA to DIII. thanks administrator of siouxsports.com. you run a nice board.
