I was far from a Jones guy but its not hard to see the talent difference, at least the top end, between the two programs.

Now do the other 12+ guys on the roster.

Jones had no problem getting talented kids to come here. Not saying anything about his style, culture, whatever. Just the fact he had some talented teams that would run this team off the court.

I hate to think this way in November but the issues are so obvious. Our team would have to shoot lights out and have a top team like SDSU be off that night for UND to even be in the game. The margin of error is so slim with this roster. I dont see any Hooker, Crandall, Huff, or Rebracha's out there.

I saved my thoughts after the UIW game hoping we would look better. UIW is an awful basketball team and we struggled with them. The fact is UND is bad again. Its not hard to see they have avg talent and very little bounce in their step. It looks like a Princeton team. I like Sather and have no doubt he can coach but his recruiting has left alot to be desired. At least Jones recruited talent. The culture may have been bad but they had some dudes. Dudes win games, not culture. Hopefully they can win 10+ games and get in the tourney then develop Omot and Brooks.

Our online fan base was sick of hearing all the group-think, bloviating over the years about the MVFC and how great it was (Paul McCartney and Wings is accurate). So we started calling it out and now they don't like it. Whatever. We are in our third full season in the league and have already made the playoffs once and are on cusp of a second. Remember when all the MVFC fans told us we would be the new WIU or ISU-B? We were going to get run on for 250+ yards a game. "This isn't the Big Fluffy"

I would love to know which UND fans said we were going to waltz into the MVFC & Summit and dominate. It literally never happened and for alot of reason. Geez these Yotes fans are in the hurt bag.

I hope not.

Seems like it's always a good game between these programs.
