Should be a great series. The fact that it's at home makes 4 points more obtainable. Two big statement games to get December rolling.

It's there on FSSN anyway, I set my DVR this morning.

A few things: 1. I'd like to hear some organ music at the Ralph. Bring an old school hockey fell to the arena, and personally I think that would be better than some of them music played during games. 2. I moved to Bismarck 2 months ago and have attended a few Bobcat games. Now they are not nearly as fun as Sioux games but do a decent job of getting me my hockey fix. When announcing the opposing team they play "Shina Twain - I Feel Like a Women." In a way that contradicts what I said about playing bad music but in that context I find it quite amusing. Now it won't stop people from chanting "Who's he? He sucks sh*t" but it might offer a nice distraction to people who find that offensive.

I just moved here but the only three places I could think of would be Buffalo Wild Wings, Stadium or Sidelines. I can't say for sure though I haven't tried to watch a Sioux game there yet.

I won't argue that point at all, but North Dakota as a state isn't exactly turning out professional athletes like crazy, just saying... Look what I start doing once you move away

Not rooting AGAINST him, doesn't mean I'm rooting FOR him. I went to school with the guy give me a break I like to see former WCHA'ers do well in the NHL. Makes our beloved conference look better and better with each player finding success.

My honest opinion on these.... Anyone thinking of buying one of these jerseys don't hesitate. I just got my 1958-1964 Home jersey and am very impressed. Good weight to them, sturdy feel, patchwork is excellent everything is stitched on very well. Great jersey at a great price. Can't say enough right now, great work! Thanks!

You're right fourwindsboy, I'm probably wrong here, I'll admit it. Sorry about that.

You don't know me, but my closet is filled with Sioux apperal and I've been at every hockey game the last 4 years. Nothing will change but the name and logo, the games will still be just as fun. How am I gloating? How is this a hit and run? I'm just stating what we all know, its pretty much gone. Sorry for being down to earth. Just because I like the nickname, but realize that it probably won't be around much longer you attack me personally? I think we've all lost more important things in our lives than a monkier.

Listen, all I'm saying is that if the few who wan the the nickname gone want it gone, well farewell. I've always liked the nickname and supported it, but now its out of our hands. Things are the way they are, I said in an earlier post, its not the name that carries the tradition its the people who come through the university and the people who support our academics and athletics. Are you saying you won't support the university as much just because we're not the Sioux anymore? Just because we're not the Sioux anymore doesn't mean our football team isn't as good or our basketball still won't continue their success. It's just a name, I think a lot of people have lost sight of that, if they want the name gone let them have it. Since we're not the Sioux anymore should they still get their tuition help, in my opinion.... NO. It goes both ways. With all that being said there is still a small chance that it will be kept, but that's not likely.
