Irrational exuberance is part of being a fan.... some pepper put aside thier concerns and enjoy the party.... other people think pissing in the punch bowl makes for a good time... lots if time for moaning and hand wringing as that is a bigger part of being a fan than Irrational exuberance.

good point, I was thinking more of the offense nose dive mid season, the qb choice, the lack of time for qb back ups.... more of "let bubba piss this year down his leg so my old HC can swoop in, lead the program for a few and cede to me... just a hair brained idea from someone with no hair.

I choose to remember good things, although with all things in the rear view mirror they get less clear and more unrecognizable. But yeah, blow this weekend, a distinct possibility, and B-Rad should sweat most nights...

I wish we had Hak like play on the ice... and post season vigor... but original Hak has passed onto other things, a comeback would seem like a retirement plan and that brings it's own entrenchment that might be best to avoid. What we need is Hak 2.0 younger, hungry, relatable to players, less of a grandfather figure.... Throw in some Dean Blais thinking and Eades passion and the way forward would be fun... a coach like that may be sipping coffee in Omaha and planning life strategies...

I am usually less enthusiastic about a series with Miami, usually because of their perpetual doormat status... I even miss Mr Bean behind the bench.. But this year it seems like we could be the monkey that Miami gets off its back.

That falls outside of post season success. Go undefeated every year and exit with a first round play off loss every year is nobody's idea of a good time.

He entered my mind, not sure coaching is his forte or desire but he is a winner. I would be excited to have captain serious guiding the program. But yeah, personal issues are is immediate concern. I didn't hear about Bolivia or iawasca(sp), but something about healing tied to India. Whatever works, more power and good thoughts to him. He was one of my favorite players.

The problem with that arrangement is that it fails to align with the fan bases desires...... post season success. If KEM & BB were hanging green banners and constantly in the hunt, then all would be well in mudville. That said, ignoring the game score and ramifications, the on ice performance is pretty distasteful at the moment.

I suspect it is a maneuver to reduce the buyout of an outright firing, Bubba has value, just not at the FCS head coach level.
