I agree with you for the most part. Season ticket holders and the more adult crowd will keep going to the games. From a student's viewpoint though, they do care how many people show up. When they do show up, they bring energy and excitement into the Alerus that makes it a fun place to be. But yes, a lot of them are bandwagon fans haha

Yes, but unless attendance starts going back up, ticket sales will drop even more. It takes people going to the game to make others want to keep going. But it also takes a good product on the field to keep expectations up.

I didn't miss a home game from 2006-2009 while I was a student there. At the start, the students definitely showed up and because we were so far ahead by halftime, a good number started leaving. Towards the end of 2008 and all of 2009 there were barely students showing up for the games. Also, these numbers look a lot like they are tickets sold, and not the number of people that are at the game.

Yeah, I had the Style Guide from a couple years ago with all the logos and stuff but it stopped working last year I think. That one also had the Force of the North logos too I believe. The new Style Guide is kind of a let down compared to the old one. I'd like to have it so I can put it on desktop backgrounds for now. Just something cool to have a good quality copy of too.

I looked on Google for the geometric logo, but the only thing I could find was the Sioux Logo History from OrwickSioux's site and a replica jersey. Anyone have a high quality geometric they can either post or send to me?

I'm looking for an upperbowl Saturday (10/30) general admission ticket for the student section. Ticketmaster had them listed at 45 dollars a couple weeks ago, but I waited too long and now they're gone. Anyone have one of these for sale?

The part of the article that said many states only have one large school....right..... What about Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Montana, South Dakota, Nevada, Arizona.....pretty much every state has a University of ______ and a ________State University.

I grew up in Montana a couple hours north of Great Falls and went to a lot of high school sporting events in Great Falls. I want to say I remember something about the plaque hanging up next to the gym, but I'm not quite sure on that. Maybe I'm just remembering walking by it and seeing a hockey player. Next time I go back, I'll have to go check it out and try to get a picture if it's still there somewhere. Pretty cool article on Casey though.
