As others have alluded to, the nature of football and basketball jerseys with the large numbers on front and back don’t allow for a large logo. Those programs are displaying the Hawk name and logo as prominently as they can, save for going all out using the modifications above. Hockey jerseys are perfect for a big logo on the front middle, something I admit the current rectangular logo isn’t good for. I hope a new logo is designed and the current one becomes the secondary shoulder pad/helmet logo. That said, the opportunity for a diagonal HAWKS script on a hockey jersey instead of NODAK looks real good right about now. The hockey program had a chance to ease in with something like this but chose not to, which is no surprise.

Not a Brad article, it was a video feature. Takes 1.5 to 2 years for the design process, according to Dan the equipment manager. Who knows when the Nodak idea itself was born. Start at the 2:35 mark.

Speculation: Brad’s articles have detailed the time it takes to get a new design created and produced. The timeline checks out that the NODAK jersey idea was born around September 2020. Berry-an insider, files the paperwork, knowing how popular they will be. The new jerseys are released in 2022.

Oh great! Just what the hockey program and Berry need. Watch them fall to the bottom half of the NCHC and out of NCAA playoff contention now.

Wow tough fall for the Beavs. The boys just have to enjoy any win and see what happens next week. Have to believe that the clowns sweep but let’s see!

Let’s face it, getting a tie and win this weekend was unexpected. Beavers have to be upset about the Pairwise implications. UND vs St Cloud could be really scary but maybe the underdog role suits this group? We are back to .500!!!
