WOW was the purpur packed tonite. Unbelievable the support it had even with the womens hockey big sell out campaign 3201 in effect. GFRR and GFC played a dousy of a game. RR dominated first two periods and GFC dominated the last period and RR won 5-3 with a empty netter. this game was intense/heavy hitting from the beginning. Lizotte from RR is a stud. I suspect he wll be in the ushl next year even tho hes a sophmore. U no its a gfc vs gfrr game when the city had to plow off the gfc practice football fields for more parking lol!

Talked with a few people tonite and said that tonites session even though its in grand forks with all fargo teams but grafton had more attendance in it then the east region last year thursday nite session. Cheaper rent at purper plus more people paying equals a hell of a lot more money. I understand state is going to the scheels center in 2 years and the scheels cetner will ahve the edc next year and they hope it draws well as they barely broke even last year for the edc tournament there. KUDOS to devils lake in bringing more people than GFC had there. GFC barely had a student seciton whereas red river maybe had a 10 row deep one still not that great but i guess you could make the argument the kids have to pay to watch.

Looks like the west has a bit more parity haha. I think the EDC is up for grabs after these afternoon games. Any one of the 6 teams who havent lost can take it.

GFRR 7 davies 0 GFC 3 DL 1 Both pretyt good games. the red river game got out of hand int eh third but before that the dacvies goalie stood on hsi head. THompson from DL had several scouts at the game looking at home. Didnthave his best game of his life by any means

Ive also never had to wait to use librarys services. Often times when im in there its usally after 6pm and it sure is dead in there.

Maybe the distractions of the New York city life was a little too much? But i agree on the coaches behalf to give the kids a break and do something fun on a long road trip.

Was over on egriz.com. Lot of posters arent happy about UND being in the big sky mainly for travel but also for fivaling UM in academics. A lot of them think they have to fly to fargo and bus to grand forks.

I have a hard time believeing it will jsut go down too. How we guna pay for the bigger building? Increased snowremoval costs with mroe parking? more employees? more computers? more books? more dvds? i hear all the library charges is .50 cents to get a library card and even if you dont have .50cents u can fill out a form to get it for free. Id personally like to see a drawing before a vote to see what 20 million will give us. Find a hard time believe 20 million is the perfect number when before all they need was 10 milliton. then they need 150 million and now they need 20 million. I will vote NO unless i see the drawing and think its worth it.

Just had a few drinks at an estabishment and heard from a really good source some information about Danny but if you guys want me to post it I will but most will think that its jsut the rumor coming from someones mouse but im 99.9% sure this is the truth. Also Happy 40th BDay to Dane Jackson. Saw all the hockey coaches/admin at the establishment celebrating his 40th. Yes i did get the info from this establishment.

I hate to say it and probably going to get bash but I wish i could look at it more positive but all signs point to not good. 1. Sent to Minneapolois Hospital where regions has the equipment/expertise to deal with the most serious type of skin 2. Family wants there privacy (yeh i no a lof familys want privacy but wouldnt the family come out and say Danny is going to be alright or its jsut for precaution) cant blame em but its kind of fishy 3. He was found walking. Its prety hard to get frost bite on ur feat wearing shoes so msot likely he was wearing either sandles or nothing at all. 4. Big win saturday nite. Get home early sunday morning. prolly had the off day monday since it is bye week wouldnt u do some celebrating if u had a big win and knew u had nothing goin on the next day? 5. Surprised it took 2 days to come out in the news 6. Lot of people on montreal boards are hearing the same things that are rumored here in that the right foot toe is really bad and was found passed out in a snow bank. 7. Why would the press release say passed out in the snow bank? Obviously they would spin it the ebst they can and say walking. With all that being said, I hope im wrong and I hope we see Danny this year again and afraid if we dont, he will most likely be done playing hockey or being in the monreal organizaion according to some posters on the montreal sites.

I want a new library to be built. I just think the process they are going thru is rubbing me the wrong way. I think at first all the LIbrary board wanted was that the new library would be built by the new wellness center. After they sent out the questionaires and got the results and they werent very good for that location, i think that surprised them and they weren't too happy. I think they only wanted that location or keep it at the current one. Terry Bjerke was stating that we are going to get taxed twice on this deal. One for buuidling it then whens its built our property taxes will go higher since its going to cost a lot more to run a bigger library. Also he doesnt think we shoudl tear down a fully functional buidling and suggest we remodel it. But the library board wants new everything. Ive never had any trouble in the current library and could almsot care less abotu what it looks like as long as i can get the book/dvd/movie/cd i want and have access to newspapers i dont normally recieve. The head of the library also wants 450000 for salary increases, better benefits, and more employees. Since she came aboard, she has become a very needy person.

Since Hill Murray is a private school, does that mean Brooks would jsut be a full time footbaill coach doing recruiting and all that stuff or is this a part time gig?

I was listening to talk radio this morning and it brought up some serious concerns of mind. Do we realy want to spend almost 21 million on a buidling that has no blue prints, diagrams or configurations yet? I think we are rushing into this real quick and shoudl maybe have a fundraising campaign also. But thats just me.

I have heard gene say his 30th year would be his last. So he gets a couple shots at ncaa tourney and at big sky.
