I'm not saying I want Joe pushed out the door, all I've said is that of the list of potential players leaving-oshie, chorney, duncan and finley he would be number 4 on the list. I do think that if he did return he would be a huge assett instead of having 3 freshman defenseman inthe lineup on a nightly basis we would only have 2 which could be huge.

the ncaa wants to go away from on campus sites so my guess would be the resch center in wisconsin and maybe the omaha arena, but we'll see.

my biggest gripe with Hak over the 4 years he's been coach is that on numerous occasions his teams haven't come ready to play, maybe it's players attitudes maybe it's something else. I hate comparisons but how many time sunder Blais did a team not come ready to play, especially in the biggets games of the year, not very many. Under Blais if a player didn't play well and was lazy he sat them no matter who it was-this is what I would like to see from Hak is more if you don't come ready to play you sit. It almost seems that the "star" players have a spot in the lineup unless they are injured no matter their play. again talent alone won't win a title but hard work will.

I don't know I saw a ton of Wisconsin fans in Denver. That being said I think chicago would be a great site. How many Alabama Huntsville fans will be in Tampa when they host it, 5?

Would any one know why that Chicago has never hosted one? the location would make sense with wis, notre dame, michigan and mich state all being close with good fan bases, makes more sense than Tampa? I've also heard that Philly is submitting a bid for 2013.

From what I've read on this board and talking to a fan from Cornell on Thurs it sounds like it is going to happen Turkey weekend. Although she did sound pretty happy that the WCHA didn't do well this year in the tournament, she was still bitter about 2005 in Columbus, I said there were four other teams that could have prevented that from happening but didn't.

I'd take the Irish over Cornell and Bemidji State any day of the week.

from what others are saying on this board he might see much ice time to improve on those numbers.

I look for our season to be a lot like the gophers was this year-hover around .500, no scoring and freshman goalie who plays out of his mind hopefully.

I hope you're right but I don't go into a season expecting really anything from freshman and to have to rely on martens and miller to be scorers, Lord help us.

not sure where to put this but looking back anyone think that going on that long unbeaten streak and fighting to finish second in the league took too much out of this team mentally to be ready for the playoff push. something just didn't seem right in march with this team as they were making mistakes they weren't earlier in the year? they just seemed really off.

I completely agree, how many national titles have we won with this style of play- 0, how many did Blais win with a smaller quicker lineup- 2. hmm, let's see BC just won a title with a smaller quicker lineup in fact our guys looked like they were in quicksand compared to BC. I'd like to see a team where it is abnormal to score under 4 goals a game instead of the other way around. It's all funa and games to make the Frozen Four but it don't mean a thing without the ring.
