with only one player left(finley) to make his decision on whether to return or not it is now truly time ot look forward as we will pretty much know what our roster will look like. one thing that is getting overlooked in all this is that for the first ime since 2004-2005 our squad will be senior heavy. there will be at least 7 seniors next year and this upperclass leadership could pay huge dividends come march and april. the 04-05 team was heavy on seniors as well and was filled with role players with no real "superstars" and made it all the way to the title game based heavily on what the seniors did for that team down the stretch. will this years team have the same fate ending up in D.C.? time will only tell.
I spoke to one of the coaches recently and he made it sound like they expect chorney to leave but was fairly optimistic about finley and kozek coming back, so we'll see.
if the rumors are true best of luck to Taylor. It's probably better this way to have him be where he wants to be versus coming back which it sounds like he really doesn't want to do.
how about we all just be thankful we get to see this young man play another year in a fighting sioux jersey instead of criticizing him for not turning pro.
If my memory serves me correct that following game for you guys didn't turn out to well now did it? let me see the team that you played in that non important third place game who actually cared about it did what after that, hmmmm? oh yeah the Badgers won it all.
does anyone know what type of d-man Blood is. Is he a stay at home d-man-ala Jones or is he more offensive oriented like Genoway or is he a bruiser like Smaby or Green were?
