Duncan will be attending the Penguins rookie camp next week according to the Penguin Insider.

I like the forwards we have coming in and returning plus a very nice mixture of upperclassmen vs. underclassmen

whether it'll be good or bad I don't know but we are going to be awfully young in net. that is the only thing that makes me feel uneasy about this next year.

I say they drop 'em the first game that way they get it done and over with and neither team is hurt by a suspension after the series. like kaip and bruess this year.

He wasn't the only one at the end of the year to have some lapses. this is huge news because for the first time since 04-05 we will be senior heavy-and that team made it all the way to the very last game. I may have been Mr. Negative at times on this board-but I really do have optimism for this season.

I don't think it was that big of a loss either, from what others have said he very well could have been a one and done player. defenseman usually take a good 2-3 years to develop to make a big impact on a team. just ask the gophers about ej.

It doesn't bother me that he changed his mind, that happens. But what does is the whole act of this thing-like showing up in the Zamboni tunnel. that is what is pathetic. We have benefitied from this in the past and have been bitten by it, it's just part of the process. this was just a verbal commitment afterall by a 15 year old kid and if you put the two together this will probably happen more often than not. that's why I don't hold my breath on these verbal commitments by 14,15,16 year old kids.

I see the ncaa has instituted a 2 ref 2 linesman system for all levels of college hockey for the purpose of allowing players to use their speed and to protect the puck handler. any bets as to if the wcha will only recieve the part of this memo that says 2 refs and 2 linesman and the other half will get lost?
