and now they get to play in front of several hundred sioux fans opposed to 5,000. but I gues playing in front of a ton of sioux fans this weekend didn't do anything for them. so maybe the fewer the better.
the Sioux actually only played two games in two days, although it seemed like three with as bad as they played. maybe both teams at this point should decline to the pp's and just play 5 on 5. it would probably make for better hockey.
maybe eades will take the team for a trip down memory lane in that the 81-82 lost it's last two games in the wcha playoffs to the badgers and went on to win the title. so losing the last two games isn't the worse thing in the world-maybe.
I think the Sioux will be in Manchester-which maybe is a good thing to have to play a host team on basically home ice. it might get their focus a little more and plus why should they be rewarded for their performance this past weekend. duluth could end up in minneapolis instead of us. for our performance this weekend we should get the toughest bracket. UND-UNH will be a battle of teams with losing streaks.
if yale and denver win we'll be a 2 seed and go to manchester to play new hampshire. if denver and cornell win we'll be 9th, same with duluth and cornell winning. if duluth and yale win we'll be 8th and duluth would be 7th. then again will it really matter with how shi@@@ we are playing.
does it really matter at this point what seed we'll be. playing like sh@@. 1,2,3,4 it don't matter we will not make it out of next weekend. thank god I didn't go to the final five.
says a lot about the squad this weekend. what has this second half run gotten us this weekend-nothing,absolutely nothing. looks like we'll be golfing one week later than the gophers this year.
they got in becuase of the math of the pairwise nothing else. they also didn't squeek in seedwise, as they ended up being a three seed. notre dame was actually the last team in. how many frickin times do we have to go over this crap. geez louise. go back and look at the pairwise afterlast season and tell me where wisconsin got a break or a win added to their record to get them in-they didn't.
I'd love to chalk last night's loss upto just a bad game but we've had five bad games in a row. and we face connelly today and he's always HOT against us. I can handle us losing but getting shut out in the semis? we are not playing good hockey right now and haven't since the cc series.
