1. A UND v UNO series is my dream, but of course I am biased. 2. Their arena is very nice, but it is Creighton's "house"-- and the hockey games are almost always less than 1/2 capacity -- some more big names and formal NCC rivals might energize or expand the fan base down here. 3. Mutual of Omaha Stampede 4. UNO makes sense in the WCHA because it is no further for the majority of the upper midwest teams to travel to the rockies (and UNO already has to fly to fairbanks, ak) -- so travel isnt so much of an issue. 5. If nothing else, how about a WCHA final five in Omaha??? Change of venue, for once.

This team sucks at closing out games and series. Harsh, I know.

I just want to add that I'm bringing up a law school classmate from Omaha to the Ralph for the DU series. We made a deal where I would go to a Nebraska football game (his alma mater) and, in return, I would take him to my alma mater. The Nebraska game was amazing, and I'm certain that his experience seeing Sioux hockey will be the same. I think its great that people from around the country get to experience what college hockey is all about. And, despite people's preconceived notions about the state, North Dakota can be pretty kick ass. I have also noticed that outsiders are particularly impressed with blackjack in bars. Cant wait for the game and my post-game grinder. Go Sioux!!!

Heard a rumor that there will be a Toews Bobblehead this season as well. I Dont know why though. They are going to run out of players to have on an annual basis. That is, unless there is a demand for Brian Lee and Anthony Grieco bobbleheads.

You would be surprised at the all the posers that tend to come out of the woodwork (i.e. people who follow Michigan and Notre Dame football, or worse people who just have their hat). I saw Michigan play at UNO this year and that was definitely happening. HOWEVER, the Sioux fans will be the most abundant and loudest for sure! Gotta represent for the only non-BCS school, a true hockey university.
