  1. Your coaching staff WAS in disarray at the time. Everybody knew that. That was the truth.
  2. "What you just said......................."
  3. Yes I read the thread, hence my link reference. I counted five, maybe six. Refresh my memory again; what's the cutoff for it to be considered "piling on"? Maybe I was a few short. My bad.
  4. You mean like a certain incident discussed on bisonville.com?
  5. I'm sorry, but......... Carry on......
  6. Wait now, I'm confused. Did you just post some thoughts that actually make sense? MplsBison, how can you say there is no advantage to having recruited with FCS scholarship numbers for 4 more years than UND? I will be interested to hear your opinion on this one.
  7. Let them do that. We all know what they would be saying and doing if it were our guy. IMO, the kid made a mistake in judgment and will be punished accordingly. I will leave it at that. Many kids that age make mistakes of that kind. Hopefully he learns from it and moves on. I'm not going to make judgments on kids from their mistakes in college. I made my fair share, that's for sure.
  8. No, not what you can make up and tell us - actual references. Link, maybe? You are always the first one to call everybody out to show you proof of things. What proof do we have that you talked to the AD's from ndsu and SDSU? You know just as much as everyone else on here as far as I'm concerned. Remember these are the lofty standards you have set for everyone else. You can abide by them too.
  9. You know this how? You have sources or references for this?
  10. Oops, I meant Dan. Sorry. They both start with 'D' thought right?
  11. Bison Dick, That legislative piece of garbage has NOTHING to do with either school. So you can stop referring to it as if someone at UND brought it to the table, and as if someone at ndsu shot it down. Please get over yourself.......sometime.
  12. I know by replying to this I am only just adding more posts to an off-topic thread, but since it is already at the top of the list, here it goes anyways. Can we PLEASE stop posting off-topic on a thread like this? It just keeps bringing an already unfortunately painful thread back to the top of the list. I think it's safe to say that this thread can be locked for the time being. The details of the topic at hand have obviously already been discussed at great length. If something relevant comes out again, then have at it.
  13. The crappy part is that I WILL have to read it over on the hockey board. As will others.
  14. Sad day for the UND family. Tom Clifford was a great man and leader. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
  15. Good. So when they turn the corner and become a much better team and program in the future, you can stay home then too. Objectivity is not a bad thing. The men's basketball team and program is down, nobody can argue that. Negative, pessimistic, sarcastic opinions on anything OTHER than hockey do get old however (actually, your login argues that point even). But, you are indeed entitled your own opinion. I haven't had to ever use the "Ignore" feature on this forum for selected users. For the first time since joining, I am actually considering it. I'd like to set you up on a date with "Debbie Downer". You'd be a great match! Thanks for the "objectivity" though. Consistently great insight on your part.
  16. I really hope it's the former.
  17. What the hell does that mean?
  18. !@$%#&&*(&&()_()!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Could we accept it in their stead? 900k in the budget and a trip to the Big House would be awesome. Please, Brian Faison, PLEASE!!!!!!
  20. I agree. If nothing else, Faison should have picked up the phone and called Gene by now for PR purposes. PICK UP THE PHONE BRIAN! Maybe it does start with the Presidents, I don't know. But still, the AD's have to be able to talk in order for the game to happen, don't they?
  21. Sounds like you have things all figured out. Have at it and complain away. And also read my post again. Never said my thoughts were the 'end all'. Thanks for your input though. Another point of view.
  22. Obviously, not an ideal game to schedule now or in 2011. As has been said by many already, we all knew the transition would be the toughest years. The best thing for LOYAL Sioux fans to do is to support the teams and programs through the tough times when they need it most. I guess it's ok to complain a little and be disappointed to a certain degree (myself included) and want the best for the University of North Dakota as a whole. Everyone has set their sights high for the athletic department specifically. It will take time. There are/will be growing pains. Stay the course. So many variables need to play themselves out before any definitive judgments can be made. If you are going to "jump ship" and threaten to stop going to athletic events and supporting UND financially because of scheduling a few games like this during the transition, then please do it for the long haul. When things make a turn for the better in a few years, I would hope those same people won't be "back on board" with their pom poms in the stands.
  23. These 2 games at the bare minimum had better be TOTAL sellouts next year. The Grand Forks community should plan on being at those two games for sure. Also, the athletic department better have a better marketing plan than what they had for the 1st home game this year against SUU. I am already so pumped for those two games, I have shivers. Can't wait.
