Also Michigan for the 1998 NCAA tourney loss. A 30-7-1 Fighting Sioux team had to play the Wolverines at Yost Ice Arena in the national tournament with a trip to the Frozen Four on the line. And this guy had tickets to the Frozen Four (Boston) and had to watch Michigan win the whole thing. Ugh. Dave

Looking for 4 tickets for Saturday 2/29
Dave Berger replied to MhdSiouxFan's topic in Tickets wanted / for sale
Tickets are sold. Thanks for all the interest! Dave -
I've got four tickets together for Senior Night (Saturday, February 29th) in Section 306 Row C. Great view of the ice and player benches. Easy to watch plays develop with no obstructions. UND shoots on this end twice. Easy access to beverages (organ bar right next door and beer/drink stand right outside our section) and the Red Pepper stand. These seats can't be beat! I would prefer to keep these together, but I would consider splitting into 2 and 2. Please text me if you're interested, and here's to hockey! Dave Berger Mobile: 218.779.9872

For those of you traveling to St. Cloud for the games, here's what I've gathered in terms of the festivities: There won't be an official UND/SCSU pre-game social on Saturday (at least not one that I've heard of yet). I would still like to get folks together somewhere before the game, and Brick & Bourbon (formerly Brothers) on 5th Avenue South looks interesting. I think I'll bring my group over there on Saturday afternoon, and y'all are welcome to join us. On Friday night, I'll be playing a short acoustic set (10:30-11:15 p.m.) at the Red Carpet if anyone is interested in checking that out. The venue is 21+, and there will be a pop punk band on stage there after I play. Here's to hockey! Dave

University of North Dakota Hockey 2019-20 Season
Dave Berger replied to Frozen4sioux's topic in Men's Hockey
I really like the "Go Hawks Go" video display/cheer starter that was displayed during the Denver series. In my opinion, it's far better than "Let's Go Hawks" for two important reasons: 1. "Let's Go Hawks" is too similar to "Let's Go Sioux", and therefore leads to competition to see whether Hawks or Sioux can be louder. 2. "Go" is a much better ending word for a cheer - it echoes and resonates like "Sioux" does since it ends with a vowel. I encourage everyone to give it a try the next time it comes up - a louder arena is always a better arena. Here's to hockey! Dave -
