Respectfully disagree. Anytime you can add a year to the "Playoff Championships" banner is a good thing - and in this case, it's a brand new banner!

Viewing options for Sioux hockey games this season
MafiaMan replied to fightingsiouxfan86's topic in Men's Hockey
Agree 100%. Thanks, NCHC, for putting that together and making it available to fans. -
Kinda figured that...I really don't see Minnesota or Ferris State losing their respective tournaments. Quinnipiac looks tough as well. Hockey East could be anybody's game.
-
That was my first thought too.

Uh oh...we're in trouble if this was the regional in Grand Rapids at Van Andel...that's only a 45 minute drive from Kalamazoo.
-
The only reason this might bring some more Miami and Western Michigan fans is that this tournament isn't the CCHA-fest in Detroit. Perhaps because it's something new and different. I guess we'll find out on Friday, right? While not a fan of the Target Center itself, I do think keeping the tournament in the same location year after year will hopefully give it a feel like St Paul and the WCHA Final Five.

That's pretty big talk!

Anyone else? PM me and I'll add you into the head-count. Thank you.

More good news...thanks to Siouxman and Mrs Siouxman for helping with getting YaneA a ride to the brunch. She' confirmed that she's a definite "YES" to attend on Saturday.

7 or 8? Nice work. NDH always delivers the goods come roll-call time! Tom's quite the extrovert but I'm going to make sure he thanks the crew for coming in again this year. I'll make sure the microphone is ready to roll for some introductions and Sioux hockey story-time. Should be a great time Saturday.

No SCSU...no UMD...plenty of tickets available. And I bet Sioux fans scarf 'em up.

Viewing options for Sioux hockey games this season
MafiaMan replied to fightingsiouxfan86's topic in Men's Hockey
I watched the entire game tonight on the NCHC site without any problems. -
1988 - Northeastern beat Maine in the title game. UMass-Lowell and Providence College were the other two semi-finaliats - and Jerry York and Bowling Green won the CCHA playoff title that year. HE quarterfinals and semifinals were decided by the two games/total goals system. Awful.

How about any scenarios where SCSU watches the NCAA's instead of resting up for them?

Just not enough horses in the stable this year in Detroit...too many injuries.
