  1. Maybe you can both start your own game threads? Emerald joker can start one for the folks who can spell and gfhookey cann strt won four folks who lik to tri to decypher what hez sayng.
  2. Behold...the power of positive thinking!
  3. If they wind up playing Michigan or Michigan State in the Thursday quarterfinal game, yea.
  4. They have gone with the diagonal MICHIGAN or the block M for a long time now. The wolverine jersey was used as an outdoor game special jersey and 3rd jersey.
  5. Last used in 1987...
  6. LOL! So apparently New England wasn't the only team playing with deflated balls yesterday?
  7. Don't forget, B10 seed #'s 1 and 2 get a first-round bye. #3 plays #6 and #4 plays #5. Minnesota's barely #3 at the moment. Plenty of hockey left, but Minnesota has their work cut out for them.
  8. OK, so how good of a coach would Belichick have looked like had Tom Brady been pasted a second or third time in yesterday's game LONG AFTER the outcome was not in doubt? Instead, Bill is treated like some demagogue when he should have been excoriated for leaving Mr Bundchen in for basically the whole game.
  9. I count 7 - ALL Patriots. The Dolphins, Bills, and Jets have all been beyond bad for the better part of that stretch.
  10. There's something about JLA that brings out the best in Michigan and Michigan State. Watch out for Penn State as well. This isn't the Minnesota slam-dunk I thought it was earlier this season.
  11. It wouldn't be SiouxSports.com without someone calling for a coach to be fired, would it?
  12. Finally...a Mankato jersey that I like - nice work, Gemini! This thing's a beauty.
  13. It's hard to argue that the WCHA is a "poor" conference given the success of Mankato and Ferris last season. Both of those teams played quite well in the NCAA tournament. That does as much for the conference reputation as the respective records of Michigan Tech (slipping a bit lately) and Mankato this season.
  14. Which is amazing given all of the b*tching over on GPL about cheap Wisconsin...and some 5th liner from Minnesota leaves the bench and joins the fray and no one notices. Priceless!
  15. The AFC East - easily the worst division in pro football over the last 20 years.
  16. Penn State or Michigan State could surprise someone though...plus that tournament is at The Joe this year, which will not help Minnesota at all.
  17. Yea, but there is evidence out there that suggests Gisele was over-inflating Brady's balls...
  18. I love your glass-is-half-full attitude!
  19. Still not understanding all the hate for Bostick when Clinton-Dix had all day to bat down that 2 point conversion... Did anyone else notice the fan in the end zone wearing the #9 punter jersey on the fake field goal TD? His reaction to the play was absolutely priceless.
  20. While I love this Patriots look, it's bass-ackwards because Pat on the helmet is wearing a blue coat while Irving Fryar is wearing a red jersey. Ummm...weren't the British the redcoats? Make the Patriots jersey blue and that logo/uniform would be AWESOME!
  21. No contest! The original Seahawks logo was updated nicely in 2002 but the colors were changed. The 2002-2011 logo colors were far superior to what the Seahawks use today. Now, perfection would be the logo update with the ORIGINAL colors of the team.
  22. This could be the worst Super Bowl in recent memory in terms of uniforms - Seattle's monochrome blue helmet/blue jersey/blue pants look is among the worst unitard outfits this side of the Ravens' black/black/black look. Then there's the Flying Elvis logo of the Patriots, the blue jerseys with piping everywhere on them, and silver pants with mystery stripes as well. The red facemask completes a horrible look. Both of these teams should bust out their 1980's duds and make this Throwback Bowl I. Pat the Patriot along with red NE jerseys and the 1980's era Seahawks threads were uniform awesome-ness!
  23. Well, the Patriots do have a history of cheating going all the way back to the 1982 snow plow game against the Dolphins...
  24. 19-34 for 178 yards, 1 TD, and 2 INT's. I know Aaron Rodgers was injured, but those stats still aren't great. GB also had not one but TWO chances to get a first down late in the game that likely would have ended any Seattle chance to win. There is good news in Packer land today though...maybe folks in Wisconsin will finally stop talking about the Fail Mary game!
  25. Each team brings 12 balls to the game - kinda like little league baseball.
