So the hockey team committing to the NCHC followed by ASU leaving for the B1G…which would prompt the hockey team to leave the NCHC before ever playing a conference game or be a one-and-done conference team. Not a bad look for the NCHC?

Back on topic, does anyone else feel like Arizona State in the NCHC is a temporary situation at best? How embarrassing would it have been to see ASU join the B1G and immediately leave the hockey conference? I’d say it’s a legit concern, no?

I might start off by questioning a $91K a year salary in “gender and women’s studies,” but that’s just me.

I went by myself on the 2005 bus to Columbus. The hours of planning that went into a single road trip must have been in the hundreds. Al treated everyone like family. Still probably a top 10 highlight of my life, despite the loss to Denver in the title game. Also had the good fortune of being on-hand for the Al Pearson tribute night. Unbelievable that he even made it to the game. His hat sitting outside that section permanently will be an awesome tribute to a mountain of a man and like someone else put it, North Dakota hockey’s original “super fan.” It’s been a long road for Al with his Parkinson’s Disease battle. God’s got him in good hands up in Heaven, just in time for Easter. Godspeed, Al, you were the best of the best in Grand Forks. We’ll miss you.

Pffft, that’s nothing! @Godsmack has been banned from softball, hockey, pickleball, AND dart leagues in the state of Colorado. He is currently appealing his bowling ban for allegedly throwing a 16 pound ball at a group of Catholic nuns during a recent charity event for St. Luke’s Nursing Home.

I don’t blame you for being salty. I thought Hastings would stay in Mankato too.
