I think that either Matt Bruneteau or Brett Kostolansky would be good additions considering teams rarely have only 6 Dmen and with a chance of Lapoint leaving I think Hakstol would address this and pick up 2 dmen. I noticed that Brett would be an '08 recruit but I didnt see Matt's name on Chris's list but while checking i noticed Ben Montgomery's name and saw it on the shattuck roster he is a pretty young kid and i believe this is his second year maybe he could turn out to be a good '09 prospect.

would'nt this belong in the prospective recruits thread but anyway it is nice to see that there doing okay maybe they could be hometown boys like marto and play for the sioux after a couple years of juniors.

Kelly Zajac off to a good start for Salmon Arm this year he has 2 goals and 7 assists in 5 games so far I also noticed Derek Lee's name on the list he has 11 points in 5 games for Salmon Arm.

For one i wasn't surprised i mentioned mario recently because i had word of his commitment but there is a certain sensitivity to these kind of issues so i couldnt specifiacly say that he had decided to come to und.

If the Xcel Center gave them that big of an edge they would win there all the time which they dont. I would just rather see the frozen four at a neutral site. People will travel to watch their teams play in the frozen four i dont think attendance would be an issue.

My guess would be that if the transition worked succesfuly they would get all the credit instead of Bunning and if it worked out right he would be praised by all the UND faithful

the last that i heard und had not closed off mario as a recruit and mario had not removed und from his list of choices and that he could possibly end up wearing kelly green even though he did not accept a scholarship offer the first time around.

I just dont think its unlikely for him to possibly end up here as some of you may think for instance Jason Gregoire goes to Denver over UND and then decommites to Denver and comes here coaches to not have hard feelings if the top end talent ends up skating for them in the end. that is all that matters to them

I am assuming that any GF kids that are on the radar would require at least a year in Juniors, Alex Simonson has had a good offseason and should have a good season this year. Also is there any word on Mario Lamoureux or a former GF resident Danny Wurden?

we would make room for derek lee if it came down to it he is an elite recruit just like cichy, toews, fink, gleason and kristo there will be room for all of these recruits.

i dont think that frattin and trupp are a very good combo to put on the fourth line as they are goal scorers not enforcers...
