so marto is the odd d man out but who are the forwards sure if forney is hurt he is an obvious sit. but why bring frattin in if he is not going to play i just dont see the sense in wasting his ability. i may be getting the wrong impression but the addition of brent davidson seems to be a 4 year player as i have heard nothing about him. i also dont think radke will sit much as he plays with a lot of passion. my 3 forwards sitting out hoping forney is healthy is davidson martens and another player who is not performing in games and practices.

im gonna have to go with Chorney Lapoint Finley Bina Jones Genoway Marto i think that radke should play forward

i like to build suspense so for now i'll just say he would be a steal right out of the gophers back yard.. but once again i have no credible evidence besides hear say from a player who was at the selects telling his father this who then relayed this message to me.

I noticed that Matt Bruneteau (Shattuck U-16) played in the Lincoln Star's all star game and am not sure if he made the team or not but I have heard that he is a pretty good player and with his brother Brett coming here in 2008 does anyone else think or "know" if we have a good chance at landing another Shattuck player?

I believe that before UND becomes a competitive baseball program they need to upgrade their facilities...including Kraft Field which I think should be removed or completely redone. UND has not been competitive on the D II level recently so I see no reason why to expect great things right away but with the right facilites and some good recruiting hopefully down the road the boys can make it into the tournament(I hope the same for basketball one day)

I was surprised not to see Will Aide make the team, Will plays for the Bismark Bobcats and was one of the leading scorer for the 17's

i dont thinkanyone is giving marto a chance. when he gets in to und's weight training program he will gain the weight that is needed to play in the wcha. watching him play high school hockey he was a phenomenal player and his stats in the ushl were quite good he had 23 points this seaon which was second on his team. he is a natural hockey player and with added size and strength he could be a good 4 year player here. i am not saying he is going to be a superstar but i think he should be at least given a chance to play before we consider him just a 4 year bench warmer.

i believe after davids commitment there will be one more spot open for '08(pending early departures there will be more)

if its true that you watched him play for central you must not know hockey..he would change the game everytime he was on the ice. he has excellent hands and good speed for a defenseman. he dominated high school hockey the year he played and thats the reason he won Mr. Hockey
