After watching L'ville take it to the Gators, I gave ND a shot...oops!

This series vs CC should be wide open, fast paced hockey....if some skill guys need to get it going this will be a good opportunity for them.

The Rowney line will be dynamite. With the BC line, you are banking a kid, Mitch, who hasn't played in a year + who didn't do much when he did play last year and another, ODonnell, who hasn't done really anything since he got to UND. Agree Mark is the real deal at center but he is a set up guy in that role from what I've seen. Going to need wings to score. I know I'm in the minority but I really like Gaarder and he is one of those kids who gives you everything he's got. Some nights are better than others but as a fan you notice him when he's out there. I rarely notice ODonnell.

This^^^^^…all of it. If I had to pick a player that needs to play nightly between Mitch Mac ( limited sample) ODonnell or Gaarder, it's Gaarder. Some kids are just "hockey" players and he's one of em.

Not hard to see when CC just isn't very good.

Gonna be race horse hockey..fun to watch when CC comes to the Ralph.

Tough to take a guy out who can and has scored, Gaarder, for guys who could or might score, Mitch Mac and ODonnell. Mark Mac is very solid at center though.

Rodwell and ODonnell pass the "eye"test, but they haven't done much IMO to have secure line-up spots. Gaarder to me is a top 9 guy over Mitch Mac or ODonnell. I think Colton brings more 2 way play than Rodwell on the 4th line. Hype and potential only get you so far then you have to produce. Rodwell and ODonnell haven't that.

Not after watching Gaarder and St. Clair this past weekend IMO. Tough to sit either one of those guys even for a healthy Rodwell. My 4th line...the General centering Connor and Colton.

Giving 9 is a lot in a playoff game, but I think both AFC games will be blowouts...Flaco and Schaub stink. I think both NFC games will be close. I like GB is ARog isn't on his back most of the game. ATL is soft and SEA beat the snot out of WASH.

Well said..."just being a Montana" would be a great thing for any FCS FB program. Best FB atmosphere I've witnessed outside of Lambeau...and I've been to many FBS gigs to boot. Consistent contender as you mentioned w as loyal fan base you'll find. We at UND would give anything to get to 8-3 w a playoff birth in the next 2 years w Muss. But my $$$ would be on SU winning another Natty in that same time frame. No Kool-Aid drinking here.

UND had a D that would have struggled to stop Shanley. SU had a D that made the 2nd highest scoring offense in all of FCS look pedestrian at best. And their D will be better next season barring injuries...ours???

SHSU coach was quoted as saying the SU D was best they faced all season...this includes Baylor and Johnny Heisman's team...which is the same D that just held the Sooners to 14 points.

Seem like a lot of the duckies and bunnies Muss trumpeters are the same ones railing on SU and their lower "division " impressive run. Interesting...

Wouldn't have mattered...ARog threw for 205 in 1st half, punched in opening 2nd half drive "and there's your dagger "! Vikes had no answer defensively. Of course then the rest of the game as could have been predicted McCarthy goes ultra conservative w play calling knowing there is zero chance the Vikes put up 3 TD s in under 2 quarters of FB.

Parks found a home on 1st line. Rocco goes back w Rowney and Cagguila. Just don't see alot from O'Donnell game in and game out. Watching again this weekend don't see how you sit Gaarder in favor of O'Donnell or Rodwell. If Hak keeps the Mac brother line intact, I wouldn't mind a 4th line of the General Colton and Conner next weekend.

If anyone wants to take shots at SU because they feel it's not true "D1"...think how I feel watching UND this year?? How/what would you classify take mess!!?? You play the games on your schedule in the "division" your university is in. Last time I looked SU was the best FB squad 2 years running in our "division". Stop hating and demand more than the mediocrity "toe to toe" garbage UND FB fans have had to witness lately.
