A continual awful product doesn't make fans want to open up the entertainment dollars check book above and beyond season tickets, Champions Club, Alumni Foundation, ect.... It's Uncle Andy's job to figure it out. That's why he's getting paid.

UND FB desperately needed an infusion of some buzz and juice. Schmidt brought that to the fan base immediately. There's hope in the upcoming FB season. The Schmidt hire moved the needle. UND hockey, the flagship sport of the U, desperately needs an infusion of some buzz and juice. IMO Jackson won't provide that for a fan base that is tired of mediocrity and has become borderline apathetic. Would a Jackson hire move the needle? But at the end of the day winning cures all.
