Any chance we can get some "experts" here to breakdown the old school 1A and 1AA FB divisions and what is "truly D1"?

This....^^^ Gornall and Peski played with more effort than Wilkie and Hoff did the night before but without naming names there were 6 guys to my count that coasted last night like they did on Friday.

Based on overall play this season to date and his position draft wise Jost hopefully took the floor and called some people out. IMO this should be his team moving forward. When your best player gives more effort than almost everyone on the ice others need to heed his voice and opinions.

Penalties are killing this team as they have a terrible PK, give up too many shorties and don't convert enough on the PP. IMO this team is best suited 5 on 5. As to a forward back on D that's easy....Bowen. Who sits on D then....... Casey. He definitely in not a wing. So then if everyone healthy 2 of the 3 have to play up front...Wilkie, Simo and Gornall. Just one can be a scratch. This takes I to account Hoff is in lineup.

Hmmmmmmmmm......I did that and from a "FB-only fan" that can't make it Saturday and I then got them to someone who would use them. It's not difficult.

...........and there was no student section last night. But if for one evening next Saturday the students show up, the deer hunters stop making sausage, the beet farmers stop counting their money and hockey-only fans not in NYC get off their couches IMO 8000 is a realistic, albeit pathetic, number. (BTW did I miss any excuses?)

Completely agree but Cam is the least of this team's concern if he stays healthy. One of the other goalies needed to play Friday at some point.....either at 1-3 or 1-4. Our D in front of Cam is horrendous most nights. Our PK is brutal taking away shoiting lanes as well. Too many bad mistakes leave Cam on his own.

Not disagreeing with this. Long season but UND has dug themselves a big hole to climb out of. They can always just win the NCHC tournament then the Pairwise is irrelevant.

Nothing I saw this weekend changes my mind on Michigan St. They are very much a below average college hockey team. UND's "reality" is they are not very good either right now. That was painfully obvious too.

Also for what it's worth Shaw left game late in the 2nd and wasn't on the bench at all in the 3rd.

UND's net front to just outside the dots defensive coverage this weekend was absolutely atrocious.

You do understand UND was playing Michigan St at home this weekend correct? Michigan St is a really bad hockey team and UND did something at SCSU that they hadn't done since 1998. If you are tryiny to make chicken salad out of the huge pile of chicken s**t from this weekend.........stop.
