What's funny about that email is this: So this person doesn't want the Gophers to play the Sioux anymore because they are goons. But yet later on in the email they want players like Bickel to come back so they "take down" the Sioux players. Very "classy", and also nicely ironic.

Roman is also quite good with the English language: Haha.

The Sioux feed has worked very well so far this year. This series is being sent over from the MTU site though, so not sure how that quality will be. I want to say that I watched it via the MTU site last year though...but I don't remember what the quality was like.

I think they like to slam the Sioux because everytime they do, they probably get 100 emails the next morning from angry UND fans. People like to get email, so they continue to make fun of the Sioux. Some Sioux fans are very touchy it seems. I would bet that more teams hate the Gophers than hate the Sioux.

Jason Gregoire got WCHA ROTW. Ryan "I didn't deserve the Hobey" Duncan got WCHA Offensive POTW. Don't tell Chris over on Western College Hockey blog about it though. He'll do a post about how he didn't deserve it. Nice little weekend for the boys.

For how much he supposedly hates UND, he certainly obsesses about them quite a bit.

I can really see now why the UAA fans dislike him so much. What a tool.

I bet Corbin Knight liked what he saw this past weekend. I would also bet that UMass can't offer that type of atmosphere in any of their home games. Will we be seeing a commitment soon?

Honestly, I don't think anyone did. This team is just two weekends removed from the GLI debacle. How they could lay an egg against two of the worst teams in college hockey (this year) and then two weeks later destroy the #3 ranked team in two consecutive games is beyond me. Let's just hope that they don't resort to that type of play next weekend against Tech again.

Win with class, lose with dignity. I'm not a fan of going onto the opposing teams' message board to rub it in their faces after a big weekend. I'll just enjoy this weekend now, as I am sure that the Sioux will faceoff against UMN again later this season. And I would highly doubt that we will hang six on them again...

I'll reserve judgment until after next weekend's Tech series.

Tech played DU tough this weekend. Took them to OT last night before losing. And then lost tonight 3-1 with an ENG for DU in the last minute. That said, if the Sioux play like they did against UMN, they should sweep them.

AZSioux kicked his butt again in the picks for the week. Plus, the Sioux will only get two on Kangas each night, maximum.

This is a really balanced Sioux team. All four lines contributed this weekend and played great together.
