  1. Unfortunately won't happen anytime soon. I think we're locked in a series against them for the next 3-4 years or so.
  2. Persson will want that 2nd BSU goal back. No screen and at a sharper angle.
  3. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. We need to stop scheduling BSU. Their style of play is not fun to watch, and every time we play them it is their "super bowl".
  4. Their PK prob won't be last in the nation after this series is over.
  5. So brutal. Not even a single SOG.
  6. PP time. Let's see if our PP looks any better against the worst PK in the nation.
  7. Looking like another Thanksgiving hangover so far. BSU winning lots of the battles.
  8. Just playing around with it right in front of the net. Couple guys could have cleared that one out.
  9. BC crushed Notre Dame 6-1. Big OOC win for the Eagles.
  10. OMac back on the top line. Monty, Schmaltz, Komzak, and Emerson sitting.
  11. Who's providing the shoutout? I'm guessing that none of those happen...BSU is no pushover and they always seem to play a bit better against UND.
  12. Doesn't sound like Schmaltz will play against BSU but should be ready to go against DU: https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/und-center-jake-schmaltz-getting-close-to-a-return
  13. BSU a bit more offensive so far this season: https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/bemidji-state-games-have-been-wild-rides-this-season
  14. That BU win moves UND up to #3 in the PWR. Thanks Cooper Moore!
  15. QU leads BU 2-1 with about 7min left in the game.
  16. Brad mentioned in his podcast this week that we've had some stinker games at home the day after Thanksgiving. So hopefully we can turn that around and not have a letdown. We need to schedule more games on Thanksgiving...remember the Murder at Mariucci a few years ago?
  17. Another "move" for a committed recruit. Simpson had a 1-2--3 line in 14 games with Tri-City so far this season:
  18. Kawaguchi has retired from pro hockey and is now living and working in Fargo: https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/jordan-kawaguchi-turns-the-page-from-hockey-to-begin-new-career
  19. Man, interesting situation for sure.
  20. Yeah man, check out these amazing facilities that you could take advantage of next season.
  21. Yep. UW got #1 and then got promptly swept. Need to take care of BSU this weekend with no let up.
  22. I think McGroarty might be out for awhile. He was carried off the ice on a stretcher and they showed an update of him in a hospital bed. Hopefully the kid is alright.
  23. Wait...wasn't it also Loheit that injured Schmaltz in the UMD series last weekend? Color me surprised, he's at it again. Strange how these UMD players keep injuring opposing players: https://www.uscho.com/2023/11/18/nchc-suspends-minnesota-duluths-loheit-one-game-for-major-cross-checking-penalty-nov-17-against-st-cloud-state/
  24. https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/riese-gaber-delivers-another-big-game-as-und-sweeps-miami Hopefully the boys all feel better by next weekend when BSU comes to town.
  25. Very early look at the PWR, the top 16 breaks down like this: ECAC - 1 - QU HEA - 6 - BU, BC, Maine, UNH, Prov, UMass NCHC - 4 - DU, UND, SCSU, WMU CCHA - 0 B10 - 4 - MSU, UW, UMN, ND Indy - 1 - ASU Some surprises in there so far. The highest CCHA team is way down at #27, Mankato. All 6 HEA teams are in the top 11. I imagine that 1 or 2 of those teams will drop out of the running as they beat each other up in the regular season. Michigan down at #22. The current B10 standings would have been hard to predict entering the season... MSU, UW, and ND lead the way...with Mich at 4th and UMN down in 6th. Gonna be a fun season to watch play out!
