A couple of offerees that committed elsewhere - Tony Bello is going to New Mexico State and KiAnte Hardin is going to Minnesota.

Actually in my opinion it should be based on both. The BCS always drove me nuts because a team that loses one game is somewhat penalized if that loss is closer to the end of the year. I understand the "how well they're playing now" part of it, and a little weight should be put on that, but you have to look at what a team has done the whole year.

I know that we've got Jon Tharaldson out of Bismarck listed as an offer - I've heard he committed to Minnesota for track.

The way it's going UND will have trouble getting 5 first downs today.

I believe a lot of those problems recently had to do with concussions. If that's true, then that would be a legitimate reason to quit if he didn't want to deal with that. In either case, we're getting pretty thin if Young is also gone.

This game actually scares me a little bit because the biggest weakness our defense has shown is the pass defense. Now, it is miles ahead of the Chavon Mackey led unit of last year, but we've still shown times where we are susceptible to the pass. I do think UND has a great shot at winning and getting the offense going, but playing pass happy teams scares me.

My understanding is he was pretty much out the door then decided to stay.

I believe he was at one of the Elite camps this summer, and I also think the coaches have stayed in contact.
