Not just the ushers.... When the Sioux crashed the net in the 3rd on Saturday... Most of the student section was standing as the play ended. A Sioux fan about 8 seats down from me, but one section over from the student section, stood up. Then a REALLY Cranky old guy just started to scream at the guy to sit down. Calling him an A-hole and a few other things. He even made his way down his own row and reached down two levels to crab the guy on the shoulder to yell at him even more. So a 70 year old Sioux fan is screaming at a 20 year old to sit down when it's an exciting part of the game.... And the play was over so it's not like it really mattered anyway. The rest of the Sioux fans around us seemed very embarrased. I can see you guys yelling at us Gopher fans, just because we are who we are..... But for a fellow Sioux fan to go off on this kid was way over the top.

With Minnesota and UND's extremly talented freshman classes coming in next year and the fact that CC only loses 3 Seniors... I think there is a very good chance that the WCHA could get three #1 seeds again next year.

Doesn't take long for people to get bitter... Personally... I really don't care either way who wins on Saturday. I'm am just looking forward to seeing some good hockey in HDTV... Hopfully it keep me going until October.... but it probably won't.

What a complete TOOL!!!! I would like to appologize on behalf of the "normal" Gophers fans for this loser. This is the reason why I turned the registration off on GPL. There are just too many idiots out there.

The Sioux completely outplayed the Gophers tonight... The Gopher's were never in the game... Maybe that is why I am not as upset over the loss. We just flat out got beat by a better team. I also agree on the Guyer play. He should have gone for diving and the UND player should have gone for the crosscheck. Both 2 minutes and 4 on 4. That may have been the worst call of the night. Good luck in the title game.... DU looks awful good right now.

Yeah... I completely understand that. At least I have been registered here since Jan 2003, I don't post much though... My site was a nice and quiet place where most of the people had their head on straight.... Then POI shut down and you can pretty much figure out the rest. Here's the deal.... No one knows what is going to happen. I don't care what any of the Gopher or Sioux fans say. There are so many variables that it is just too hard to predict. Which Minnesota team will show up? (November? or January?) Who are the refs and how tight will they call the game? Can Parise keep standing on his head? What about Hirsch's head? Can the Sioux keep their momentum? Can the Gophers score? Etc... Etc... Etc...

Boy... Can you feel the love for my GPL web site? This could get ugly in the next 10 days.... BUT.... I'm really looking forward to all of the propaganda from both sides... Then we get to listen to one of the teams fans shove it on the others face when their team wins. Along with the typical excuses on the other side. This will be fun!!!

Appartenly a lot of people feel that it's CC turn this year.

My site was sort of secret for almost 2 years. I had just over 300 registered users. A large bulk of them registered when POI was down during the 2003 Frozen Four. Now there is over 420 users and it's rising fast. I don't think it's a secret anymore. A few months ago I thought I was going to shut down. When FOX made me take down the highlight videos, I figured why keep it up and running? The videos were the main reason that anyone visited the site. Then the University got on my back for having logos that looked like their trademarks, even though I drew them by hand back in the 90's. After all of that I felt like giving up. I guess it's a good thing that I didn't do that.

My site is going not going to disapear. I think I know what the problem is on my site.... I think I just have a MOD that is causing too many database queries in a certain amount of time causing my provider to clamp down on my site. If it keeps causing problems, I will just remove the MOD.
