yah, but that was with a cream puff schedule! I just think in the long run the rotating goalies hurt your post season play more than anything else. W/O the top dog ready for end season games by knowing he is the go-to-guy, it seem that inevitably they end up losing that critcal game. Case in point, the loss at the X last spring...IMO at some point you got to pick your boy and let him play the games. WPoS

I think anytime there is an issue with a player about them returning there is going to be rumors of acedemics, unfortunately because a large percent of the time it ends up being true (I'm not saying so in BB's case here). If there was a football or bouncy ball player, there would be rumors of an impending jail sentance. I'd take the acedemic rumor for a hockey player over a murdur charge any day. WPoS

Personally I think having FOUR goaltenders is more of a liability than an asset...but that is just MHO. WPoS

I'd pretty much agree with you an this. Our tradition rival has been Bucky, but since Bucky has been SUCKY as of late....UND has become a pretty good rival since Blais took over and made it a good team to play. WPoS

sorry, but there is a HUGE difference between a 19-20 year frosh vs. your 28 year old frosh. WPoS

I think as a whole the arena is not sterile. There are a few spots that have some fun and make some noise. Those spots are just not in "corpie-land". Show me ANY arena besides UW that gets the whole place into it over 80% of the time tho.... WPoS

UW: stupid fans, yelling "SIEVE" after every save by the visiting goalie, bunch of mullet wearing, ice cream wanting, drunks. Been threatened a few times as have my buddies. Bars sorta make up for that. But that the student section can do whatever they want in violation of NCAA rules needs to change. Arena itself is nice, but sterile, no "atmosphere". UAA: one of the most BORING places to watch hockey. Nothing to do in AK during Feb. All the touristy places are closed and the sidewalks are caked with ice. As for the crowd, actually quite a lot of MN fans up there from working on the pipeline, so it was ok. With no student section or band, it was quiet. I was heard yelling for my Gophers over the radio! Nicest people on the planet tho. UMD: ah, DULUTH! Grandma's and cheap booze, more than makes up for the lack of imagination in that arena. tPB guys are a riot tho. The rest of the fans are not the brightest tho. Inane, old comments by a bunch of punks (am I getting that old?) and being threatened by old (ancient) UMD fans was the highlight this last year. That and brooms hitting their own fans because they couldn't throw them that far. The arena is a pit, with obstructed views and stupid netting. The place is OLD and is like a rat maze, where was the pisser again? Or was I just that drunk? Places I need to get to yet so I can make comments: UND, MSU, but I'll pass on the toilet bowl of JBSU. Next year I myy make it up to UND and show you guys how to tailgate in the winter! WPoS
