I hope Wentz is drafted #1 and has a hall of fame career. However, if ac fans are expecting a love fest guess again. The ac has become the Patriots among FCS fans. People are sick of watching them win and the media exposure they get. It's what happens when you win so much. Call it butthurt if you wish, but you'd better pack a lunch because you'll be using that phrase a whole lot. Get used to it.

Have to wonder (i haven't looked) what in state offers the kid had until now. Geography will always be a challenge with kids that far away.

Actually, you make a good point. There's the gap between the non playoff teams, the playoff teams, the top tier of playoff teams, then there's the ac.

They played and they were not competitive (did anyone else watch that game?). UND is a long way from a title contender (not saying you were making this claim). The gap between the top of FCS and teams that simply make the playoffs is significant.

Is there any evidence the NCAA would do anything? Looking at past dynasties I don't see the NCAA moving to dismantle it. Usually those things (see scholarship reduction) come from the membership.

Whether or not i think they improved as the season went on (I do) is not what I'm addressing. I'm saying Richmond is good. UND is good. The ac has a way of making good teams look very bad.

I'm sure we here on this board, and the folks on the Richmond board have a slew of reasons why their team looked awful against the ac.

I disagree about Richmond. If the only UND game the entire fcs nation saw was the bison game, what would they conclude about UND? About Santiago? The ac makes good teams look foolish in there.

Do we know who has accepted a partial? They would seem the most vulnerable.

I agree there's extenuating circumstances...figuring out what those are is the tricky part.

Elijah Grady was a known commodity. Its not like anyone was hiding him. I don't advocate a warm body either, but that's just my point. There are plenty of good QB prospects out there. It seems odd to me, if UND had plans to sign one, that an offer-or at least a visit-would have been made by now. There's not much time left until signing day. I agree with Hambone, I don't think there will be one.

Create attention? There's a whole list of offers out there and recruits making visits by everyone...not exactly cloak and dagger stuff here.

Am i missing something...seem strange there's no offers and no visits for a QB?
