Four years ago you posted this. About 3/4th of a billion state tax dollars have gone to Fargo. The rest of the state has had a properly tax increase and a 20% cut at there university. It doesn't look like Fargo is worried about paying for a diversion with all the tax payer funded buildings being built. But it all can be explained because you can walk and chew gum at the same time. You can spin just about anything. Press reports say Fargo has never had the proper permits to build a diversion. Sioux Volley what's your take on this? Past and future. Fargo officials over the past few years have given themselves a pat on the back saying we waited patiently for flood $ so other cities could protect their city b4 us. Fargo got about 3, 4 or 5 times what other cities got. It paid to wait 800,000 worth of wait. Heitkeimp says they never had the proper approval. He was on the radio saying this for as long as the diversion was talked about. They heard him. He told them. Minnesota has called their bluff. You can't roller skate in a Buffalo Herd- Roger Miller Mayor Brown has wanted these projects for as long as he' s been mayor. For some conspiratorially reasons the state does not think these projects are worthy enough for state dollars. Shock When GF tax payers have to pay for maintaining state roads and people in GF say the city is the problem that's twilight zone thinking.

They'll take all the profit out of the Engelstad send the $ who knows where. Not keep up on the maintenance. Kelley leaves town and we find out 500 million deferred maintenance. They will not keep up the building like these guys so do. In most cases cities want tax payers to pay for the maintenance of buildings in there community. The way the state has treated buildings at UND I think I'd take my chances keeping it in the hands of the private sector.

Ya and people in GF don't know or realize how the state has underfunded roads in GF for decades. Ken Vein pointed out on the radio that GF had to put millions into state roads because the state wouldn't fund us properly. People here are always pointing out what a high tax city GF is. Could it be that were high taxed here because the state has underfunded us for roads for decades. Maybe as high as a half a billion over 40 years. I've followed this that long. Thus putting more pressure on the property owner. Have I got any of this right Kab?

I heard the average homeowner will save100.00 a year if it psses. Not 100% sure on that statement.

If your a conservative isn't local government-state government the best place for local decisions. Not to be a smart ass but is it the fact that you see to many people who may lean left on the city council and it's more about them than the tax? If the council was all conservatives would you take a closer look at it if they said we need this. Or are you just anti tax in general as many are.

You have good knowledge about hockey conferences. People say Big 10 hockey is not the place to be. i keep thinking at some point and time it will be the place to be.
