  1. I love it when people have to tell you how much they know about stuff. Quite funny.

I'm guessing that SiouxForever has never laced up the skates competitively in his/her entire life. :silly:

I've played the game, I have won a state championship, played against Current Sioux players as well as other College players that are currently my age that are playing at the Collegiate level. I don't feel like I need to give you guys a history lesson on my hockey career, but yes I have played the game, I would just like to inform you guys on that. Also I am not trying to instigate anything on this "Lee Watch" thread, I think all posts should be insight information on Lee or his plans. The other day I came a cross Siouxnami's statement about Zach Jones. I read the post and took it for what it was and totally disagreed with his posts. I am entitled to different views to people's post and I just thought I could explain a hockey appropriate explanation on why I think Zach Jones will not make the NHL. I think I did so in a respectful manner that shouldn't be looked down upon. For some of you users to look down on me and criticize me and claim I have no hockey knowledge is quite funny, hell I know when to laugh, I am not going to take this forum too seriously c'mon. Also I guess I learned note to self not to use somewhat decent vocabulary using words such as intelligent, ludicrous, delirious, arrogant for some users may get offended on this forum. Sorry for ruining your day guys. I'll do better next time, we all learn from are mistakes right? Ha-ha

  2. SIOUXNAMI - To say that Zach Jones could develop and one-day make the NHL is ridiculous. Are you delirious, nothing against Zach Jones, as he is a decent 4th/5th defensemen for the Sioux and maybe a number 3 defensemen on any other team. Yes, he plays the game hard and is a hard nosed player, but to overestimate this kid and say one day he could play in the NHL if he keeps on improving he may one day make the show.... c

  3. To say that both Minnesota and North Dakota both recruited Marto is true. However, when it is said that Minnesota wanted him bad, I don't know if that is a fair statement when I don't believe he ever got an offer from them. That said, I hope he shows them what they missed out on.
  4. I think next years team really needs to bring in Matt Frattin or Jason Gregoire to add some much needed offense to the second line whoever that may consist of. Also when David Toews does commit, would he play next year in the fall or the year later?

  5. I hate to say it Sioux fans, but we have a tough draw to the Frozen Four. I can see our team beating Michigan in a tough battle and then playing Minnesota the next day. The Minnesota game will be a tough game as well, but I think the Sioux will get redemption from last night. On another note, with the brackets set as they are I don't see a WCHA team winning this year. When I see the West region bracket in general, the Sioux and Gophers might have to play against each other and then more then likely face a tough Boston College team in the Frozen Four. Whoever wins in the West regional has a long road ahead of them to the championship game. I hate how the brackets are set, but it is what it is. I hate to say it, but this will be the year where a WCHA team doesn

  6. I hate to say it, but I see this kid as being a bust. He may be injured as of now and during pretty much the whole season, but when he does play he looks like a pewee playing high school hockey. He might be one of the worst skaters I have ever seen at the University of North Dakota. I was happy at first when UND got him, but I just don't think Forney will have a bright future ahead of him. I would suggest for him to play a year in the USHL, where I don't think he would even dominate the competition. This kid had high potential coming into this year, but after seeing him play, I and a few other Sioux fans feel this way. I will tell Forney this, work out hard this off-season, get healthy, and hopefully prove us wrong. As of now I just don't see him panning out.

  7. The one night of hockey that stands out hands down, the 2006 West Regional. After Holy Cross scored in overtime against Minnesota and then all off the fighting sioux fans starting chanting lets go sioux before the sioux took the ice for warmups. I'll never forget it, I had chills running down my back. The whole crowd was pumped up before the game even started. I talked to a few hockey players and they could hear the chant in the locker room from the fans and they said it was one of the loudest chants ever. I could only imagine being a player that night.

  8. Is it the song they played with the highlight video at Manitoba? If it is the song is called "Move" by Thousand Foot Crutch.

I thought this was almost it but, nope getting closer. Let me say this, this song IS NOT played DURING the sioux highlight video on the scoreboard. The song is played before the sioux enter the ice. This song usually is playing then the band plays and the sioux come on the ice. This song is not in the Oshie highlight video lol. Please help. Thanks.

  9. I am still looking for the song when the lights dim in the arena and then "this song" is playing and the sioux come out on the ice and then the opposing team enters the ice. They have played this song against Manitoba and Qunnipiac.

  10. I am just really curious on what song the sioux come out to before they do starting lineups and everything?

I heard that the team chose to come out on the ice to this song, can anyone help me out? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Guys.
