Agreed. Now baseball is another matter. If (big if) the Big Sky were to come calling, baseball would be dropped in a nano-second. And who can be sure that hockey will be king from now to eternity? Basketball was king in the mid to late 70's, and I'd say was on par to hockey in the early 90's during the Vonesh-Gulseth years...

The problem with Las Vegas is that the companies that drive the economy and have all the money want your rear-end at a poker or blackjack table at their casino, not at a hockey or *Insert sport here* game. With all the growth and corporate money, it makes sense...but that's the challenge.

You know what's scary? It's the Linda Bradys of the world that are "educating" our 18-24 year olds. She happens to be "teaching" them about child development, which is doubly scary. These are the future leaders in our businesses and communities, and this is the type of garbage they are being fed. The political correctness flywheel is gaining speed by the second, until the silent majority steps up and asserts its will. That's why I'm proud of the stand that UND has taken.
