I thought we were under off-season board rules.

My friends were jerks like that, always getting me in trouble.

I take full credit for the fact that the Earth has been on a cooling trend since 1998.

Even in the old Ralph Englestad Arena it wasn't as crazy as it was say in the early 80's. Our seats were up in the 16th row or so (pretty high) and you could just hear the sound bouncing off of the ceiling. It seemed that later in the 90's the crowd just wasn't as loud. Of course this is subjective and I could be wrong. Anyway we've got the best facility in the country. Unlike the national champions we've even got air conditioning. Why complain about. Let's just have a great time with what we have.

The good news is that I recycled my comment from the last time.

When we moved into the Winter Sports Building in the early seventies there was the same discussion. The new place just didn't have the atmosphere as the old barn. Maybe they were right, but no matter. More people are enjoying the Ralph and that's what's important.

I was going to take some time off from the Sioux, but it looks like I couldn't go two or three days without running out of something to wear.

Always a Sioux fan, but it appears that we'll have a tough time to get there again. However the 2000 Championship was a surprise after we couldn't get it done with that great Senior class in 1999, or 1998 either. More recently we made it to the final game in 2005 when we couldn't get there with Zach Parise and Brandon Bochenski.

So what excuse does he have for the way he officiates WCHA games? OH, back to tar and feathering Sheppard again.

He should be tarred and feathered for that.

I'd take Garry Valk before Lee Davidson.

Considering all of the illegal interference that never gets called in front of the net, let the players kick the puck in.

I did think the guy that gave Miller the two hander across the head then a two elbow check to the face driving him into the boards deserved an attitude adjustment. Aside from that you are 100% right.

I don't feel so well. I'm going to have to leave work early with a case of Sioux Flioux.

If I remember we were losing by a fair bit at that game as well. TJ was still out there playing 100%.

He was so good to us too.

I'd go there more often but I just don't like all the traffic. Plus I always get lost in the bigger cities.

East or West?

I did an analysis of the Light Rail project in Minneapolis. If you figured out how much you'd have to charge each rider to pay for the system (building it and operating it) you'd have to charge the 10 million riders about $10/ride (Assuming a 10% cost of capital). They're charging a $1.50 now.

I haven't liked him since he sued ND because he didn't think we should be allowed to set our own hunting seasons. The case lasted about five minutes in front of a judge if I remember right. Plus he welched on his bet and didn't wear an official Sioux jersey when he lost his bet with our governor. (And he claimed that Potulney and Irmen were "dual citizens."

I'm sure everyone knows that Scott Dub played for Grafton/Park River but was from Park River.

I guess if I were going to be there I wouldn't go to the award ceremony, more out of a lack of interest. But those folks who are saying not to boo or act badly are 100% correct. The bottom line there's no way to compare a goalie with any other position player. So why get worked up about it?
