It was IMO a major boarding. Of course calling it checking from behind doesn't raise any confidence in the sentience of Sheppard or Hunt.
Thankfully the Badger got up.
Suppose there are two bad calls. In the first team A scores a powerplay goal. in the second power play there's no score.
How did that even out?
Whether or not the bad calls were "equal" the officials still screwed up the game.
Sure, just letting the bad officiating slide is going to result in it changing. The officials are well paid and we deserve to have some consistency in how they call it.
Brad Sheppard (33) and 9-C.J. Beaurline Sheppard was the one closest to that take down of Malone in the last minutes, not that I think we would have scored for sure.
Goon put the numbers on his website. I have this page saved on my phone's bookmarks.

Well I never had any respect for him, but I think it's a legitimate question whether or not they'd make that call in that situation all the time. If they would there's nothing to complain about, if not then....
It's not a rule?
I didn't hear the whistle, but the Sioux players didn't like the shot. I'm not saying that it should be called at that point of the game, but I don't think it was a makeup call either.
A kid gets hurt that badly and the league hands out a suspension. Fine I can live with that, but for the life of me I have no idea how Malone could have played it different.
It was a shoulder to shoulder hit. He was doing something with his feet, but he certainly didn't jump. After the hit the bodies went flying.
I thought it was a clean hit and I'd be pissed if that call went against us.
